Master and Mxolisi are shocked when they realize the owner of the car they are trying to steal has a gun pointed to their heads. A near death experience brings Smangele and Ayanda much closer to each other. Zakhele and Mxolisi lock horns showing that they will never be able to get along.

Zakhele looks like he might attack a sleeping Mangcobo. Mastermind advises Mxolisi to make peace with Zakhele for the sake of business. Sabelo brings Mondli and Dhlomo surveillance footage from when his car was stolen.

Manzuza questions Ayanda about his relationship with Smangele. Dhlomo brings in Mxolisi and Mastermind for questioning. Zakhele panics hearing Dhlomo has evidence incriminating Mxolisi and Mastermind.

Episode 40
An unexpected visitor catches Zakhele and MaNgcobo off guard, asking them questions that they can’t seem to answer. MaNzuza finds the answer that she’s been looking for. Mxolisi makes it clear to Ayanda that he won’t be abandoning Mangcobo, because she’s the only mother he’s ever known.

Mxolisi and Zakhele manipulate MaNzuza to allow Mxolisi to remain at the panelbeaters. Nosipho is back in the friend zone with Mondli. Ayanda refuses to be a Xulu. Ayanda and Smangele come out to the public. Mamkhulu wants Zakhele out and forbids their marriage.

Mangcobo decides to approach Mamkhulu in a softer manner, with no results. Nosipho continues to fight for Mondli’s attention. Mastermind is reeling from what he witnessed.

Zakhele bribes MaNgcobo’s uncle. Mastermind is convinced that Zakhele and Sbu are up to something. MaNgcobo tells Zakhele she has a plan to get rid of Xulu’s aunt. Mastermind warns Ayanda not to mess with Smangele.

Mangcobo is ecstatic when the elders give her their blessing to marry Zakhele but she’s in for another shock. Ayanda plans on buying Smangele a wedding ring. GC tries to get Nosipho and Mondli back together but he only makes things worst. Mangcobo busts Zakhele.

Episode 45
MaNgcobo takes control of the ilobolo negotiations when Zakhele suggests that Maybe shouldn’t get married. Ayanda's plans to propose are on. Nosipho and GC’s confrontation is not pretty, but she has a new ally from the past.
Mondli and Nosipho battle to get over each other. MaNgcobo sets the date for the wedding. Sbu catches Mastermind in a compromising position.

Zakhele threatens Mastermind. Mxolisi and Mastermind discover that the recording from office is inaudible. Nosipho and Mondli get into another heated argument. Manzuza thinks Ayanda should not officiate at Mangcobo’s wedding. Mangcobo is touched when Ayanda agrees to officiate at her wedding.

More and more people find out about the proposal that didn’t happen, and things seem to go from bad to worse. Mxolisi and Mastermind come up with a plan to play Zakhele at his own game.
Ayanda breaks up with Smangele, telling her that even though loves her, he doesn’t believe that they were meant for each other.

Mxolisi refuses to become Zakhele’s best man, disappointing Mangcobo in the process. Dhlomo is overcome by emotion when Sibahle shares with him parts of her story. Ayanda struggles with his sermon as his mind cannot stop thinking about Sibahle

The deal at the harbor is a success. Ayanda finally gets to meet the woman of his dreams. Zakhele nearly gets a heart attack when he realizes that he’s been played at his own game. MaNgcobo and Zakhele finalize the wedding plans. She is excited.

Mxolisi suspects that Mastermind has betrayed him. Zakhele nearly chokes Sbu to death over the botched hijacking. MaMlambo tells Manzuza she doesn’t think the wedding will take place
