Gold Diggers comes to an end on e.tv in early March and plays out with nine final episodes and no renewal.

Word from e.tv is that there isn't a yay or nay on the renewal of the show so right now the finale is the very final episode of the series.

Episode 147

The Capture

The Gumede family battles for their safety in the night. Happiness is not pleased with Stander's takeover.

Episode 148

Ultimatums

The Gumede family do not want to accept the choices that Scar and Juan offer. The postman discovers something is off at the Gumede household.

Saving the Family

The Gumedes realise what saying "no" to Scar means. They learn what happend to May's personality in the mists of this difficult situation.

Asking for Favours

Big Boy begins planning the heist, while Stander draws a clear line. Olwethu cannot handle it when she finds out who Credo truly is.

Olwethu is still on the run. The brothers continue the mission to save the family. Nandipha gets shoved by May. Ronald gets a call from the last person he’s expecting to hear from.

I think the ending would have served the purpose cos the whole reason for the series was for the family to save their farm. I am glad to see Lucky maturing cos of the whole series, I think his character has shown the most growth. The Lucky and Olwethu actor and actress should be commended, both were very well played. I see a very bright future ahead for the two of them.

With that said, I am looking forward to A2A.

Thuli is so obsessed, she can kill anyone who's the threat to her & Israel's marriage. Her coming to rural area after robbing them so much money was the sign of obsession, if I was her with all that money I would have let Israel stay ezilalini & just continue with my life.

Eish Ronald bathong ke sono hey.....the crying of the baby is really getting to him....n then there is Big Boy he killed so many ppl n it doesnt affect him at all well not directly anyway....Olwethi is so young n mature looks like she is de only one who can glue the Gumede family cos the rest have skeletons in their closet.....

As much as I'm looking forward to Ashes to Ashes, I'm gonna miss Golddiggers. The production is truly amazing and so is the acting. Well done to etv for such amazing shows :-) :-)

I think Big Boy is nade of tougher stuff than Ronald, he doesn't over analyse stuff, he is very practical in his aproach to life. I think getting away from Ruth has helped shape who he is. Ruth molly coddled poor Ronald and he is a bit more sensitive than Big Boy, that's why he shouldn't have gone to the mine. It is very sad to see him so broken up, and some people react very differently to loss and to taking someone's life.
I think he has a severe case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Hopefully the person that calls him is Hlengiwe. When he threw the water at Ruth yesterday you could see the anger and hurt that he is going through. And the fact that his wife cheated on him with his younger brother who is honestly a lay-about can't be good for any man's ego. Poor Ronald is so broken and right now he needs fixing.
Although I would like to see more of Gold diggers, the first episode really foreshadowed what is going to happen. In the first episode we saw a disoriented Olwethu walking around covered in blood.

Where is Israel?????? I miss him.

I'm a little bit confused about one twin being Ronald's but let's hope that will take away the guilty feeling and make him feel better because seeing him like that is so heartbreaking. Anyway thanks to Thabo Malema for good acting skills we are feeling his emotions. 

@ingenuity we love novels which are making sense and are on point like yours sweety .

@nunumsi regarding the other twin being Ronald.....i think that lady said the baby is Ronald bcos Ronald daughter spirit in inside the other twin...well confusing but oh well

Awwww, thanks for the love guys. The scene between Olwethu and Ronald gave me goose bumps. My heart was breaking at how heart-broken Ronald is. We have to give credit where its due and everyone on Gold Diggers brought their A game when it comes to their acting. I will miss them when they leave our screens.

These past episodes have been very emotional. I like how everything is coming out to the rest of the family. Poor Olwethu has been made to take off the rose tinted glasses she used to look at the world. She is too young to be exposed to such atrocities.

@Nunu Credo is/was Gumede's son with the younger wife (played by Tina). He died in the mine, when the story started he was already dead, it hink he was part of Zama Zama too. The story started by him beig the reason why Gumede and wife found themselves in financial trouble. I stand to be corrected i only watched a few episodes.

@nunumsi i saw that....i have been saying all along that if May wasnt shot she could have fought them a long tym ago....i heard Juan said they need to kill that guy who went with them in the mines so they can slpit the money into 2 yeah neh money is a root of all evil....as for Scar i hope he gets what he deserves cant wait for the remaining 2 episodes.....

honestly i have being struggling to slp especially with this week eposides, aii man the are really touching and is even worse to think tonight is the last eposide, hope e.tv will renew their contract as i could really love to see wat will happen nxt since the twins are here and ronald stucked with stander at the mine and nandipha tonight will be on fire. big up to all the actress/actors of the drama their are really putting effort and oustanding performace, everyone played their character very well bt i hate scar for returning from the death as for juan aii bt guys who is that guy wa go bolela sepedi ko mine?

I can't wait for tonight's episode..... patiently waiting for Season 2.

To be honest I loved GD's storyline but couldn't stand Mbongeni Ngema but after Patrick's death that's when I started to watch it full time, really enjoyed it.

true patrick was kinda boring bt after his death GD was on fire, ya neh hope so too. as from next week i will have to look for a new tv drama as for ashes to ashe aii generation aii bt surely something good will grab my attention on that slot tym, wen is umlilo returning on screen?
