Big cast shake-up for Diski Divas 2

Mzansi Magic has confirmed the cast of WAGS for the second season of Diski Divas and it's a whole new ball game. The series debuted with five divas in Season 1 and there are six for Season 2 - but only one of the original headliners returns: Felicia Modise.

Everyone else is off the team. Nonhle Ndala is notably missing following her smackdown with Wendy Parker and Kat Mohoadube that got both of them booted from the show last season. Gigi Pule is also nowhere to be seen.

They've all been permanently replaced by three newcomers and Blue Mbombo and Kgomotso Machete, who've been promoted from cameo divas to season headliners.

Here's an overview of the cast and their current situations from a release by Mzansi Magic:

Felicia Modise

In the first season, we saw Felicia Modise pick up the pieces after her very public divorce from Teko Modise. She re-emerges this season with a newfound confidence while she raises her daughter and concentrates on her career.

Blue Mbombo

Our favourite fashionista and runner-up on Big Brother: Double Trouble, Blue Mbombo returns to unpack the relationship breakdown between her and ex-fiance Okonkwo Onyekachi (Black Aces) and to reclaim her position as queen.

Kgomotso Machete

Previously featured and perfectly poised Kgomotso Machete rejoins the cast, joyfully immersed in motherhood and raising Thamsanqa Sangweni’s daughter. She proves that it’s not all glitz and glamour being linked to a soccer player.

Thandeka Nhleko

After 15 years of marriage, Thandeka Nhleko steps in to join the cast as the matriarch of the show after her recent divorce from Kaizer chief’s legend Nkosinathi Nhleko. She’s ready to get her groove back and takes it upon herself to share her life experiences with the other ladies.

Kia Ntshole

Introducing another new diva, sexy Kia Ntshole is a doting mother to Lihle - Mbuyiselo Sambu’s son. She joins the Divas cast as she strives to maintain her long distance relationship with the Chippa United star.

Promise Zondo

And last, but not least, Promise Zondo is the adventurous, quiet newbie on the show. Her relationship with the eligible Pirates player Manti Moholo is private but solid as she tries to forge her own path outside of the soccer world.
 -----

The season has been scheduled to start on Wednesday, 13 January but this could change. We'll keep you posted.
