New Year is celebrated all over with Lucilla enjoying a surprise meeting with Zolani. Cuba and Puleng join their friends for celebrations. Dr Ongers and David’s celebration plans are shattered by a bullet.

Episode 1955
Lerato and Jimmy fear for David’s life after hearing the news. Meanwhile, Dr Ongers reveals her true intentions with David. Rose is anguished as she is now the community outcast for her hateful attitude towards Cuba. Sifiso struggles to confront Joy about their kiss.

Episode 1956
Sifiso takes a chance and applies for a high position in the company. Mamokete and the ladies try and talk Cuba and Puleng into staying. David uses Lerato to lure Hamish into a trap.

Episode 1957
Sifiso finds himself unable to explain to Prudence just why he broke up with Reneilwe. Suffocate encourages Puleng to come back to work. David allows Dr Ongers to lure him into a compromising position.

Episode 1958
David wakes to find himself paralysed and at Dr Ongers’s mercy. Lerato, unaware that Jimmy is out to kill her, confronts Dr Ongers when she finds her going through David’s safe. The Nakumba family is thrown into turmoil when Rose gets a call informing her that her mother is gravely ill.

Episode 1959
Lerato freaks out about knocking out Ongers. A drugged David tries to escape. Miles meets an old foe from the past and he is totally disturbed by the man’s presence. Mamokete, Reneilwe and Mampho find out that they have all passed matric.

Episode 1960
Dr Ongers is about to permanently debilitate David. Miles cannot shake his blast from the past. Reneilwe fears that her life will amount to nothing and that she will not get into university.

Episode 1961
Reneilwe and Mampho are eager to make a good impression when they get to varsity. Miles is shocked to learn that the state is planning to call Victoria as a witness.

Episode 1962
Miles learns troubling information about the trial. Sifiso is afraid that his association with Miles is endangering his future at Redemption. Reneilwe and Mampho come up with a scheme to make money.

Episode 1963
Miles pressures Lucilla into using Connie as a source of information on Maponya’s team. He later learns that Doc bought Redemption. Puleng discovers that Emmanuel is fending for himself now that Gumede is in jail.

Episode 1964
As the trial approaches, Lucilla becomes increasingly conflicted by her loyalty towards Miles and her loyalty towards Connie. When the Khuses discover that Gumede has been denied bail, Mamokete decides to invite Emmanuel to live with them.

Bash at first resents sharing the backroom with Emmanuel. Doc starts making changes around Redemption and tells Zolani that the time has come to fire Sifiso.

Miles heads for court. The entire community is glued to the trial. Meanwhile, Lerato struggles to read Bongani’s signals. Reneilwe and Mampho head off for their promotion at the club.

Episode 1967
Doc tells Zolani to fire Sifiso and briefs the rest of the team on finding new talent for the record label. Gail grapples with news about Miles’s tumour. Lucilla pleads with Connie to forgive Miles for what he has done.

Miles’s lawyers are worried that Maponya seems to know something that they don’t. Reneilwe is unsettled when she realises that Mampho has been receiving communication from the university while she hasn’t.

Episode 1969
Sifiso steps up, and submits a song to be the flagship of Red’s new direction. Reneilwe is worried that all of her friends are registering for university and she hasn’t received a letter of acceptance. Maponya surprises everyone by resting his case early.

Episode 1970
Reneilwe discovers that she was sent the wrong matric results and that she doesn’t meet the university’s requirements. Doc is impressed by the demo CD that Sifiso gave him to listen to.

Episode 1971
Sifiso is told that he needs to pack his things with immediate effect. Reneilwe is freaking out about how to break the news to Kop and Mamokete. Tensions rise between Jesse and Lerato over Bongani.

Episode 1972
Lucilla struggles to tell her sister that she killed Lesedi. Maponya stuns all when he reveals new information to the court. The animosity between Jesse and Lerato spills over into a cat-fight. Sifiso starts to feel the pressure of being caught between Miles and Doc.

Anna is furious with Miles for concealing the truth. Kop is still pressing to find out about Reneilwe’s tuition, and she makes a plan with another institution - but there’s a catch.

Episode 1974
Kop is determined to help Reneilwe get into the International Business School. The judge in Miles’ trial makes her decision. Things are falling apart for Lerato.

Episode 1975
Anna doesn’t mince her words when she prepares Miles for what to expect from his trial. Lucilla reaches out to Connie but ends up feeling guiltier than before. Meanwhile, Reneilwe’s excitement about going to varsity hits a speed bump.
