I thought Qondi and the Chief are the most unlikely couple of all soapies. Until I discovered Brooke and her daughters' boyfriends, she fell pregnant with the first daughter's bf, then slept with her second daughter's bf. So Qondi, give the Chief a chance, what could be worse than sleeping with your fiance's boss? What could be more humiliating than not getting married after being lobola'd? He's old and rich, your poor and young, so?
It's not the worst arranged marriage I've ever encountered, its not even an arranged marriage because you met him twice. There are women that have failed to capture the chiefs heart, Iris and Zanele. You didn't even have to sleep with him and you won his heart. In soapie land, thats magical, because people usually have to have sex in soapies to get the guy.
You dont even have to prove your good in bed. Take this free ride and run with it you naive soul. Just a warning, your gonna have to lose your conscious. Because the chief kills people, he deals with illegal stuff and yes, your gonna have to fall pregnant soon.
I am not a fan of Iris, but I have to applaud the way she's standing up to herself. I mean Mgijima is making the chief look like a saint recently with the way he's just expecting Iris to just give up her powers and her baby. What a loony, he didnt care about her pregnancy, so he has no right to demand the baby. She's already won the battle, there's no need to go to war.
