Anchored by Anele Mdoda, and co-hosted by Michael De Pinna, Shashi Naidoo and Carolyn Steyn, Tongue in Cheek promises to get South Africa talking about the latest gossip and current events. I caught up with some of the panelists!
Former Top Billing presenter Janez Vermeiren, has realized a dream with the creation of his production company Cheeky Media. In addition to The Man Cave (that I have previously blogged about), he has launched this new Tongue in Cheek talk show. Janez briefly old me that this show is really trying to raise the bar when it comes to this genre of show in South Africa.

What can the viewers expect? Well, in each episode, the hilariously funny Anele Mdoda will control the segments and discuss everything from fashion, to news about the royals and of course, who can ignore the constant controversy around Joost van der Westhuizen? You guys might even catch me on the show throwing in my two cents!
In tonight’s episode, Heat magazine editor Andre Neveling will make a guest appearance and next week, Lee-ann Liebenberg will sit in the hot seat with the panel.
I was lucky enough to get a front row seat for the taping of Episode 2 which was shot at uber socialite Carolyn Steyn’s drop dead gorgeous “entertaining” mansion. The exquisite setting was the perfect location and I found myself laughing a LOT!

Freshly back from a stunning vacation in Italy and Spain, I grabbed Shashi for a chat!! She is in love with this new gig but mentioned that it is demanding because she spends more time shooting on location than the other co-hosts. As usual, I have NO business taking a picture with her because she looked stunning!

A little birdie also told me that Top Billing is not happy that Janez has moved on to bigger and brighter ventures. How dare he leave Top Billing and follow his passions! Why block Janez from continuing to chase his dreams? Get over it Top Billing. Janez is kicking butt and taking names later!!
