A pre-show snack for fellow Survivor lovers ...
Survivor 24: One World starts on SABC 3 once Amazing Race ends. It premieres on Monday, 22 September at 20h30 (hopefully!) and the key to the season is that both tribes share one beach. The tribes are divided according to gender when the season starts and then they have to live in One World.
It's imminent arrival reminded me that I've been wanting to tell you ... Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson who were so lusty for each other ... turns out it was lurve. Whitney was so smitten by Keith she got divorced for him - from a secret husband she told no-one about. Ha!
Whitney was
secretly married when she was on Survivor - none of the Survivors knew - only her family and husband, who goes by the name Donny Fallgatter. He's the lead singer in a band called KingBilly and she's a country singer so it makes sense - they enjoyed singing together apparently.
According to People, they had a steamy romance, got married and announced their engagement to family and friends just before Whitney left for Survivor. If People can be believed, poor Donny even went to her parents' house while she was away.
Then, WHAM! she meets Keith.
She phoned Donny from the set of Survivor (just after they'd finished filming) to tell him about Keith and they were divorced shortly after. Three months later she was engaged to Keith. Three years later they're married - they did the deed last month, in mid-August:
They're the new Rob and Amber. Literally. They've recently finished filming the new season of The Amazing Race (Season 25) which starts in America at the end of this month.
