Kwaito’s lies begin to catch up with him, and he discovers a disturbing side to his relationship with Lelo. Money goes missing in the Kunutu house. MaNtuli rubs her son’s success in Meikie’s face.

Ma Kunutu has to face the reality that there is a thief in her house. Kwaito’s ‘house-of-cards’ begins to tumble around him. Rachel makes peace with Kwaito, but she makes herself a target for someone who is watching them. Meneer Manaka gives MaNtuli the wonderful news about Kwaito’s royalty payment.

MaNtuli makes an alarming discovery about the royalty money. Tbose is devastated when he finds out the truth about the ring he gave to Mapitsi. Kwaito pushes Tbose into a corner that wreaks havoc for both of them. MaKunutu is frustrated by the mistrust from the Kunutu family.

Kwaito’s behaviour pushes MaNtuli to the very edge. Help comes from an unlikely source when there is a mishap in the Kunutu household. Lelo goes to extreme lengths to get Kwaito’s attention.

Tbose and Mapitsi are at loggerheads, and Nimza gets involved. To get out of the house, Kwaito continues to weave a web of lies to his family. MaKunutu tries to reach out to Nimza but fails. Kwaito runs back to the arms of Lelo.

Episode 43
Tbose and Nimza become sworn enemies. Kwaito is stunned by Lela’s new friend. MaKunutu unwittingly reveals the truth about Ben’s death to Nimza. MaNtuli is determined to recover every last cent of the royalty money. Manaka discovers the shocking truth behind Kwaito’s lies.

Lelo pays MaNtuli a visit, pretending to be someone else. Rachel feels sidelined in her own home. Mapitsi opens her heart to Tbose, but it doesn’t go the way she wants it to. The chickens come home to roost in the Seakamela home and Kwaito fears for his life.

Rachel discovers the real meaning of humiliation, and Nimza stands up for her. Kwaito faces the consequences of actions he doesn’t even know he has taken. The Maputlas are surprised by the state of Tbose and Mapitsi’s relationship.

MaNtuli finally takes the drastic action that she has been dreading. MaKunutu, thinking she is helping, puts Nimza in an awkward position. Kwaito has his day of reckoning.

Kwaito makes a startling discovery that changes everything he thought was real. MaNtuli’s drastic actions do not go according to plan. Nimza feels defeated when his efforts to make friends in Turf prove fruitless. Lelo is under incredible pressure from the Publisher.

Rachel’s nightmare is far from over. Kwaito hatches a plan to escape his captivity. Tbose makes a decision he might regret for a long time to come. Anxiously trying to reach Kwaito, the Seakamelas make a surprising discovery.

Kwaito gets the shock of his life when Lelo shows her other side. Tbose is not happy with Elizabeth’s revelation about the matric dance. When MaKunutu discovers what Kwaito has done to Rachel, she threatens MaNtuli, but somebody is watching them.

MaNtuli discovers Lelo’s real identity, and the truth of her relationship with Kwaito. Tbose and Leeto make a last desperate effort to find Kwaito. Lelo attempts to smuggle Kwaito out of Turfloop.

Lelo’s plans for Kwaito seem to be going horrifically wrong. Kat is staggered by the police’s perspective of his involvement in Kwaito’s disappearance. Sifiso shows up in Turfloop to comfort a distraught MaNtuli, but he might be a little bit too late.

Lelo finds a way to paint the Kunutus as prime suspects in Kwaito’s disappearance. MaNtuli enters an inner darkness that leads her to believe her family was never meant for greatness. Rachel and her mother find themselves on the wrong side of the law.
