ONE GOSPEL TAKES A STAND AGAINST RAPE

ONE Gospel takes a stance against rape, with a brand new promo to feature on the channel from the 5th of March channel 331 DStv.

High profile personalities such as Jabu Hlogwane, Head of channel Reverend Abe Sibiya, and Nqubeko Mbatha. The promo is aimed at taking a stand against rape in South Africa, and encouraging viewers to take the campaign seriously. ONE Gospel is not only focused on music, but interested in issues affecting our country and continent as a whole.

Reverend Abe commented: “Everyone of us have a Godly, human and community duty towards our country. We have a duty to say something and back it up with action. Nothing is impossible when people believe. Rape and murder cannot defeat a whole society that has risen above insurmountable challenges before. Add your voice and action to this great cause, let us secure the future of our mothers, sisters and daughters. Stop Rape!”

Jabu Hlongwane commented: “We need to pray for our country, pray that evil does not take root of our society. Men in our country need to take a firm stand against rape and all form of violence against women and children in our country.”

The campaign has also been extended nationwide to schools around the country alongside other organisations. The campaign has been launched countrywide to not only educate but to unite the nation in the fight againt rape.
ONE Gospel is a 24 hour Christian music channel, playing the best in gospel hits with over a million viewers in South Africa alone.

The channel also broadcasts to the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa, East Africa and much of West Africa. The channel has been broadcasting since November 2007 and can be found on any DStv decoder by tuning into Channel 331.

Deathby Aurthor'S byline.

Yazi I wonder what kind of impact these kinds of rhetorics make in the mind of an actual rapists.

However, I do believe the ads does make an impact on the growing generation of young men who are still children and or those in their mid twenties and thirties who have been getting these message since an early age.
