SIZZLING LIVE ACTS CONFIRMED FOR MTN SAMA 19

SURPRISE COLLABORATIONS IN STORE

Some of the official performance line up for the hotly anticipated 19th Annual MTN South African Music Awards (MTN SAMA 19) which will be broadcast LIVE on SABC 1 at 8.30pm has been announced. Legendary artists across multiple genres from rock to pop to traditional to house to soul will mix it up with current superstars in what will surely be the biggest installment in the history of the South African Music Awards at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, 11 May 2013.

The revealed line up makes up only half of the live performances on the awards night with a number of surprise collaborations and appearances to be revealed only on the night. Although the producers are keeping tight lipped about both the number and identity of these artists; they have revealed that there will be a whopping 120 individual performers on Saturday night.

“MTN SAMA 19 has pulled out all the stops with an incredible line-up that will see legendary performances from past and prospective SAMA winners light up the stage at the biggest music event on the South African calendar”, added MTN SAMA CEO Nhlanhla Sibisi.

The line-up (in no particular order) includes multiple MTN SAMA nominees and Lifetime Achievement Award recipients including:

YEAH - I HOPE THIS YEAR THEY HAVE A PROPER HOST. TREVOR NOAH DID THE AWARDS SERIOUS JUSTICE - WE NEED SOMEONE AT THAT LEVEL.
