Zoo Lake’s posh African restaurant Moyo became the dining cloud for e.tv stars from new seasons of Ekasi Stories and Mzansi Love. The private function, hosted by queen of bling Khanyi Mbau, went very smoothly.
Khanyi is actually a good host, her self-directed jokes and humour had us giggling the whole night. Although the function didn’t pull other A-Class celebrities, the e.tv stars braved the freeze and came in leaps.
e.tv’s popular Ekasi Stories return with more spellbinding storylines to keep you couched-up this winter. Apparently the show has done well so far since its inception in 2009, such that some of the episodes this season will be recorded in Limpopo, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Seven production houses have now come on board to produce 52 of these local stories. Be ready to be captivated with more local content.
Mzansi Love returns again with more local love stories and a new cast. We’ve had the luck of foreseeing what’s to come on these shows and I spotted known faces like Psyfo, Khanyi Mbau, Leeroy Gopal, Channel O’ SK and other exciting newcomers in the episodes.
Some of the people I’ve had the pleasure to capture on my lens are below.
Zoli and new actress on Mzansi Love.
Craze presenter Zola and little Lerato from Isibaya.
Bheki
One of the producers of Ekasi Stories.
Some of the cast from Mzansi Love and Ekasi.
