The Chicago Skyline Awaits
FINALE

The two-hour Finale of The Apprentice was totally and excellently fab. I was cracking towards the middle of the second part though because I thought we weren't gonna see any sort of reunion of everyone - but we did, and it was very funny.

Bill Pips Kwame

The two-part finish to Donald Trump's extensive job interview saw Bill and Kwame immersed in a corporate battle to the end with The Donald making the final choice of hiring Bill. Once Bill was hired the walls of the boardroom moved apart in a perfect way and revealed an audience that consisted of the rest of The Apprenti, important family and Other People.

At this point The Donald let Bill choose his job from a choice of two. He could either be President of a golf course in California that was being brought to life, or he could be President to a project in Chicago where a mega Trump luxury hotel is going up.

Bill chose the latter because he's from Chicago and then drove off in his superb new metallic blue Chrysler, which was a surprise perk of the job. Could Bill have disappeared into *Think deadly action*: The Firm?

Getting To The Winner

I hooope not because I do really like him, was very pleased when he won and think he'll make an excellent pres. At the same time I really liked Kwame too and even though I knew why it couldn't happen I would have liked him to be offered the alternative job.

I wasn't surprised though because I thought it was gonna go this way, as Bill is more the type of businessman Donald Trump is looking for. In fact - you know what? I'm convinced Bill chose Chicago because if he chose golf in California he'd have lots to do with Caroline because of her golfing connections. Not that he doesn't like her - but I reckon he needs to get away because she likes him just that bit too much. She is a woman after all!

If Donald had said she looked liked Lady Di on any other occasion I would have thought him totally ridiculous but during the finale - her head dropped into a coy, come-hither smile - she definitely looked the part, and I'm telling you it was because of Bill. There is no doubt in my mind that she really likes him.

Sooo interesting about the relationship between business, love and sex - confirmed by The Donald himself, saying the relationship between Troy and Kwame was much hotter than the affair between Amy and Nick.

Speaking of which - who? Nick. Was his disappearance during Bill's final golf challenge because he was working hard and had nothing nasty to say? That's the only conclusion I could come to because Katrina and Amy were shooting their mouth off about Bill being stressed and telling them to do things gazillions of times, but Nick didn't feature at all and when he did only had nice things to say.

It has to be some sort of salesman trick. Selling the idea that Bill pulled the golf event off flawlessly and wasn't too all over the place at all. Which means I agree with Nick, which sucks.

Unfortunately for Kwame Omarosa did play a big part in his not getting the job. I was fuming with her as she pranced around in that stupid feather hat thing and felt very iffy for Kwame because I really think he could have made an excellent President too and she totally undermined that.

She made him look sooo bad when The Donald arrived to find her AWOL with Jessica Simpson who likes heavy, polo neck jerseys way too much for a popstar.

When all that happened with Omarosa in the hotel and The Donald was pressing Kwame to move I knew it was overs cadovers for him in that it reflected not on his business skills but on his judgement. He mentioned that he didn't know he could have fired her, said he definitely would have if he could, yet at the same time stood up for his decision to choose her.

This is why you'd want to Kwame to be your boss - because if he hired you you wouldn't have to suck any arse whatsoever to get his respect.

Which is why I was irritated when Heidi went on and on about him not giving her responsibility because of his relationship with Troy. That she was wrong was proven when she didn't stop moaning after Kwame spoke with her and addressed her every problem.

Besides all the problems created by those around him Kwame's event was also a success and what was very interesting was that while both had employees working against them - when it all came together and they were asked who should win they all chose the person they'd worked for and genuinely seemed to mean it.

And now The Donald has a son! To take home to Melania. Hehehehe. I have to say I do feel a little sorry for Bill because of what Donald said about him not being totally in charge, ie. he's gonna have eyes kept on him. I suppose it's to be expected - the whole building project is ginormous - but still ..... after going through all this I'd want to hop into that zingy Chrysler and be Noooo Pressure.

Who To Look At

As for why the reunion of the Apprenti was so funny - it was the way Donald spoke to Bill by looking at us and reading from a teleprompter. Ha! Poor Bill didn't quite know where he was supposed to look - as you would when speaking to someone who's totally not looking at you.

Things were jeeeuwsily heated between Omarosa and everyone else - particularly when Donald kept pressing her to get to the truth. She has to be the most fascinating reality TV character we've ever seen because she really does seem to believe her version of the truth is real.

And from the looks of the trailers for The Apprentice II she's coming back! Sam and Troy too. I didn't quite know what that meant - whether they are actually going to be in it again or rather have other things to do. I cannot wait.

We'll definitely be getting the second series here and I'll keep you posted on all the goss related to the when's and what's of the show.

As for what the show's actually about - Business - I've found it all very interesting, because it's really made me think about what it involves.

The best thing about the way it all ended was that firstly everyone other than Kwame and Bill ended up being totally useless which means there's hope for everyone, and secondly the two of them had something in common - neither of them put any of their own personal issues onto anyone else.

I could go on and on, but won't - instead I'll leave it up yooo.

PS: That David - the fiiiirst person to leave with the glasses. Arrrrgh. He totally freaked me out. Can't remember what he said but I immediately thought "murder".
