The Ultimate Braai Master moves to e.tv!
TX: Thursday, 11 September at 8:30PM

The Ultimate Braai Master, South Africa’s favourite cooking challenge is back for the third season and has found a new home on e.tv this September. The show premieres on Thursday, 11 September 2014 at 8:30PM.

The show features Mzansi’s top 15 braai teams in some grueling and innovative outdoor cooking challenge. The winners take home the title, R500 000 cash and a Renault Duster 4x4 valued at R260 000, two extra-large Big Green Eggs valued at over R30 000 together with an unforgettable seven-day guided tour of Kerala in India to the value of R100 000.

Hosted by Justin Bonello, the show has shattered the stereotype of what can be prepared on an open fire for two consecutive seasons. Sponsored by Pick 'n Pay, the third season will introduce a new judge, South African born Chef Petrus Madutlela who has recently relocated from London.

“Nothing says proudly South African like this production. It’s entertaining, informative and features some of South Africa’s well respected chefs. Once the season starts, you too will be cooking in the same unorthodox and experimental fashion in your homes. This is an acquisition e.tv is incredibly proud of,” said Monde Twala, Group Head: e.tv Channels Division.

Season 3 promises to be the most adrenalin-fuelled braai competition yet, with the competitors traveling 9 000km in the new Renault Duster 4 x4 on a 60-day road trip. The top 15 teams will have a fully stocked pantry across the 13-part series.
