Idols 9: Top 6 showstopper song choices

Yes, it’s time for Idols SA’s annual Showstopper Spectacular, starring the Top 6 as well SAMA nominee CHIANO SKY and one of South Africa’s leading choreographers, SOMIZI.

The Top 6 will kick things off with the Idols dancers, performing the Fall Out Boy hit, “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark”.

In alphabetical order: Brenden is performing Zahara’s hit, “Lengoma”.

Bunny plans to rock out with some P!nk, singing “Raise Your Glass”.

Crystalene will be covering Rihanna’s “Right Now” featuring David Guetta.

Musa chose local hit “Via Orlando” from Vetkuk vs Mahoota, featuring Dr Malinga

Sonke also went with a homegrown choice, Mafikizolo’s “Khona”.

And Zoe is doing Jessie J’s “Wild”.

Musa...via orlando, can he outdo Malinga O_O

Sonke can definately do anything that Theo can do and even spice it up...am happy with his choice. This sowetan has the moves!

Brenden's choice....maybe he will pull this through

Brenden's choice looks too simple for my liking..... and Bunny like really my girlie, can you choose songs that people are familiar with so that they can vote for you.....

Are you guys for real???? You have never had "Raise your Glass"..... (((Shocked for days)))). The song was on radio all the time last year. and on Trace all the time

Excited to see what Zoe will bring to the performance because the song is quite difficult to sing, but she'll be able to move on it. Bunny.. Wrong song choice, because the song's a bit outdated and not really "showstopper" worthy. Sonke, Musa & Brenden all chose songs that would get them a lot of votes, but we'll see if their performances are up to scratch. Vocally, Brenden can't compete with Khaya (who also did Lengoma last year), but we'll see.. And Crystalene's song choice is very out of character for her, so I'm doubting she'll do great with it. Here's hoping she'll prove me wrong (Although I seriously doubt it)!

I cant wait to see Chrystalene's performane. I am sure that she is going to mess this one up too. Imagine her shaking her booty on a Rihanna's song, lord help us. As for Brendan's song , eish i dont know man. I like him a lot, but he seems tooo coconut for me to pull this one off. Zahara lengoma????

Ja Brenden is jst good looks, vocally his not strong @ all. Sonke, Bunny n Musa are my top 3. Zoe can perfomance bt she must tone down the vbration of her voice its irritating..............

i agree with what has been said

Sonke- killed it 100% vocally, dancing, all was on point

Bunny- loved her!! she did her best

Musa- his voice!!!!! that good, lol i dont know about hisdancing he is lazy maan

Zoe- she is a perfromer but..... she can ride on that only, on Idols i mean but im sure she will make it out there

Brenden- im over Brenden mna shem, thats all

Crystallene- you have to go nana

My top 3- Sonke, Musa, Bunny
