Day 84 of the show that aired for three months saw ‘Bengelo’ split when South Africa’s Angelo was given the boot, so Beverly who now made it to top five competing for the $300,000 continues as a single woman.

Speaking to Sowetan LIVE, dance teacher Angelo Collins says to make it to ‘BBA top seven’ is big enough to make you feel like a winner.

“Being top seven and lasting for 84 days is a big deal and I am honoured. I did not see myself going this far.”

“I am a winner because of my country and the people who showed me love,” he says.

As much as the chase game is unpredictable, so too is his relationship with Nigeria’s Beverly.

Angelo said his relationship with Beverly got him through the house and if it were not for head of house, Ghana’s Elikem saving himself from exiting the show and putting up Angelo for eviction, the South African would still be in the chase.

“I am emotional and affectionate. To get through the house, you need companionship. Beverly and I are very real. I will continue our relationship at any level she chooses.”

With Angelo, 37, and Beverly, 21, as one of the youngest - some of their fellow mates did not approve.

Angelo says age does not matter.

“We have proven age is nothing, it’s bigger than that. If someone can love you for who you are, no age can keep you apart. I have more life experience than her, but when you are honest with each other nothing else matters. I am a man who loves a woman genuinely, I feel young at heart. I found love and am just simply following my heart,” he says.

Angelo had hopes of starting a small business, helping an orphanage as well as improving his family’s lives should he had won the money. He says those dreams are far from over. He will continue to work towards those goals.

Angelo NEVER said he is leaving Beverly, did not even allude to it, so I was kinda shocked (Not realy) by comments yesterday that said Bev must forget about Angie coz Angie forgot about her, where had yall heard that??? Cloe - She has been consistent from the beginning, did not change, mature, doesn't really bother herself with unnecessary conversations, managed to be independent and to stay strong when Hakeem left.

Dillish - She has been a sweet heart from the beginning, did not also change, almost the perfect house mate, stayed loyal to the people she considered as friends, never really gossiped, has a good head on her shoulders and she is beautiful, nice and kind.

Melvin - Nice, cool, calm and collected, very mature, has not changed, came in the same way and will be leaving the same person, also has been loyal to his friends in the game, doesn't form alliances, a perfect gentleman, respects women and takes every thing easy, no fighting, not desperate for the money to the extent of spoiling people, does not gossip and the only one to have sacrificed himself in the show.

Beverly - Has been real since day one, stayed the same, talked too much, entertained me with her dancing and some of her comments, very smart, strategic, always in the news for either good or bad, very friendly, has had me watching the show with mixed feeling, irritation, anger, disgust, love, joy, sorrow etc brought out a whole of emotions in me, never been nominated.

Still dissapointing that he didn't show his skilzzz in the house but that he is a choregrapher not just a dance is comforting. Regarding Bev leaving him...if it happens, it happens, like it does in real life, Angelo must not be blamed and Candace's name must be left out of it, the girl has but nothing but classy on twitter since Bev and Angelo started dating, makes me sad how she gets dragged into snide unfair comments bout bra Angelo.

@GA I have only watched Lee Thomson in Rizzoli & Isles (I guess I did not watch much TV back then), he played a squeezy, handsome detective, I even watched the latest season last week. Too bad man, we all have our reasons as why we want to go.

As for Bengelo, Bev ain't gonna be living in the Cape Flats anytime soon. But Mwisho did it, he is renting with Meryl in Windhoek so it can happen.

Dillish - Too good, flirts too much, almost perfect, I like to see the bad and good sides of people, feel like I don't also know her opinions about things, always diplomatic

Elikem - Sometimes too blunt, says words without weighing the consequences and the damage it will do to those hearing it, sometimes his confidence comes across as being cocky or arrogant, changed anytime he was HOH.

Melvin - Too perfect and diplomatic, finds it hard to make tough decisions or to take a stand.

Beverly - Talks too much and reveals a lot of secrets, a bit confused especially about men, drinks and smokes too much.

If we say that Beverly misses her boo Angelo who got the boot on Sunday, it would probably be an understatement.

This morning after waking up and moving up and about, the Nigerian young model made it a point to send a good morning greeting to her man. “Good morning Angelo. Miss you,” she cried out as she lay back on the couch.

She also seemed to be lost in thoughts at least going by her facial expressions and body language.

Prior to Angelo is Eviction, Beverly had struck a strong bond with the South African choreographer even before the Diamond and Ruby houses merged a few weeks ago. On the Chase, housemates came as individuals and they leave as individuals but it seemed like Beverly and Angelo were playing the game as a couple thus his Eviction will require her to adjust and cope without him.

One of those things that probably mean that she misses her man is the fact that she confronted Elikem yesterday for not being their for her after Angelo’s boot yet he’s the one who swapped him.

@GA opinions, gossip, hating and judging is part of the celebrity and entertainment culture...Yep there is reality and many factors determine outcomes - success of failure of affairs. We are like political or economic analysts or commentators, making pronouncements based on what we see, which is subjective of course...sometimes wrong and sometimes right... Putting yourself out there means dragging your family and loved ones with you. For Candice unfortunately, being associated with Angelo will make people be in her business. I remember headlines such as "Khanyi Dlomo's ex-husband Dr Mkhize in debt" not exact headline but an example of how the media operates. ku rough!

In the same breath, critisizing these bad habbits/culture is also necessary, even if it doesn't eradicate the problem, its definately curbing it on some level to some degree. Another thing iis that they are human too hey. Judging by their mass retweets of good comments; it does something good for them to know that not everyone is propagating hate against them, not everyone dislikes them, that not everyone is writting negative disaproving and sometimes fallacious articles/comments about them;). So as much as critics can/will attack, the opposite MUST also happen. One thing certain as far as BB is concerned is that tvsa is heaven compared to other social media platforms, as abby always points out, heyi! Peeps are foul mouthed/fingered out there!! I hope they r not serious.

Bev's DS......missed da start........
Her bucket list(things she has to do in life b4 she passes on) includes to go into da movie industry, making it into da hse, going back to her dancing, starting her charity , her lingerie n makeup line.
She thinks pple used to underestimate her n pple used to see her as jux a video vixen but she knows perceptions has been changed n da hsmates n others can see her as a queen, african woman n very ambitious. SHe's gotten a lot of confidence in da hse n has really learnt a lot abt herself.
She thanks biggie n say da hse has brought her love, she learnt a lot abt herself n grow.
She can't wait to see Angelo n Bimp.

Melvin's DS......he feels good n is glad to be among da 5. He's eager, anxious n excited abt da game coming to an end.
He's excited abt da final day n can't wait for da finals.

Biggie finds it hard to believ dat he's excited since he took a nap n they r sayin they r bored in da last week when Africa is making a decision 4 a winner......Mel says they gist till late in da night so he taking a nap doesn't mean he's lazy or bored. They r making da most of da days. He thinks Africa will be entertained by them even if he takes a nap so he'll keep doin what he does too entertain Africa.
Biggie says so has mel become sarcastic in da last week......Mel giggles n says he's not he's jux tryna explain to biggiedat his nap has nothing to do wit him being unserious abt da game or entertainin Africa cos he does his prt wit da hsmates to make Africa happy.
He says he's going thru da props n is tryna come up wit something dat would make biggie happy.

If he had to put his chase journey in a paragraph he'd say, da chase is filled wit love,friendships, controversies n he wouldn't trade it 4 anything in da world. he loves da experience.
Biggie says he can get ideas 4rm what he jux said to do d gift.
He says he draws inspiration from da ultimate 300k, hsmates, biggie, da activities n tasks, etc n generally experiences.
He loves da jacuzzi n dats his place to relax in da hse. Its a relaxin environment to think n have some alone time.

Biggie asks him 4 suggestions 4 a reward on thursday after da task......Mel says he doesn't know n Biggie shd do whatever he likes. He has a lot of ideas 4 biggie but he wants biggie to choose cuz he'll enjoy whatever biggie decides.

Biggie asks what is on his bucket list.......Mel says he'll like to get married, have kids, make his friends,fam n God happy. he'll like to be comfortable n achieve a lot n live a fulfilled life wit no regrets.

Dillish's DS......she's fine n really excited
Biggie asks if she was a viewer what'd she be looking 4ward to see.....She'd want to see them active, happy laughing n pampered.
Biggie asks her to suggest rewards after task presentaion on thurs till da sun .....she says movies wit popcorn, have pple ova to watch wit dem 4 company, massage wit nails done, a longer party zone time on saturday.
She's going to continue being herself n do what she's always done.
She says she's sure Africa understands cuz they r human n nap 4 a while but they r active.
Biggie says they.ve to rely on him to do stuff instead of them being creative n entertainin Africa,....Dill says they r tryin hard n r bonding well n entertaining Africa.

In da BBA hse, she'll choose Melvin as da one who'll inspires her da most. They've been 2nd for diff competitions so she relates to him. She's been inspired by da stories in da hse like Bev's abusive rel'ship, eli's car accident where he lost his bro, cleo n mel's stories as well.
In da DH, she was inspired da garden n she used to walk back n forth to think n in da RH, she likes to think in da shower.

Her bucket list include, finishing school, getting married, havin 7 kids, getting his grandad free to rest from taking care of them, travelling, winning a competition, n living a fulfilling happy life.

Elikem's DS......he's doing great.

He shown all his emotions to Africa; he's loved, cried, been happy,provoked n been provoked, he's made sensible n senseless statements, awkward, happy n excited. He's been himself n shown Africa who he is.

He's missed Pokello n wants to see her again so biggie shouldn't extend da finale by another week.
He says they r trying to entertain Africa da best way they can. He says they napping is not ideal but they get tired so may take a lil nap n bounce back to make da hse fun 4 Africa to be entertained.

He suggests to Biggie dat shd they win da task on thurs, he'd treat da hsmates to massages,an extended time at da party zone, videos 4rm home so they can watch again n sufficient alcohol flow. In return, they'll take da task seriously n make da final week da best Africa has ever seen in BBA.

His bucket list is to expand his tailoring business, further his education n get an MBA, get married n have kids, be a role model wit a good name n someone who's more religious,prayerful,go to church more n please God n also be der for family as much as he can.

Ugly ugly dresses @abbilicious :D:D......I kid my lady, Eli is da bomb shem. He excels the most with male clothes, he brought pride and hotness to West african men's traditional wear, I totaly see his clothes rocking run ways across the world, especialy the men staff.

In other good news, Nigeria's DJ Exclusive will be rockin da sat party dis weekend.....can't wait meeeen. I enjoyed his jam da last time n he's a very good DJ. Will be jammin wit da hsmates to hit after hit after hit.......... Back to da hse, da hsmates r dancin in da lounge after havin their dinner n downin glasses of alcohol laced punch. Lemme keep watchin, i might be entertained cuz right now, i'm really not!!!

@abby @askthen @nada last year's drama was the best, we had someone most of us hated so he kept us watching and interested to see him fail in the bba house, we had kealia true with their jezebel ways, even though some of us didnt mind since we werent feeling seydou. there was drama, this top 5 gets along, doesnt do drama (most of them anyway). i cant even watch for an hour, the nasty blogs even have more drama than the show itself

I can remember i even send BBA a mail and requested him to start a reality show of Keagan and Talia lol

You said you can sing yet I never heard you do a simple accapella. Mampi as much I couldn't stand her gossiping showed us that she could sing when she was in the house and wowed me with her dancing. NOTE TO ONEAL - instead of talking too much, dissing the other housemates and 'their little heads" (in your words) and spewing words you crammed from the dictionary, you should have been displaying your knowledge of the music industry and how it could be better instead of just saying almost everything is crap and/or mediocre. as it is the only thing most people will remember them both for is ""bitchassness" (and yes I know that's not a word. #dropsmic
