STOLEN-------------I've been reading some comments about Bev from people who are parents and such just goes to show me how being a woman in Africa is not easy at all. We have been set for such high standards compared to our male counterparts who are allowed to get away with a lot and on BBA if a woman smokes, drinks a lot, can't cook etc she's viewed negatively and spoken ill off regardless of whether she has a good heart, kind and loving nature etc. Worst still women are their own harshest and worst critics and enjoy bringing fellow females down with the men can get away with murder.

Personally I never judged Pokello when I heard she had a sex tape till I got to know her personality and when I did, she became one of my fav contestants because she knows who she is, she's not trying to change herself to please anybody, her priorities were her son and she knew what she came there for and didn't pretend to try win people to like her or vote for her.

Bev has a good heart though think her stories are so wild they may be false (God knows) and from the way she talks she seems to have a lot of baggage and when someone has a hole in their life they try fill it with love from men, sex, drugs, partying etc. Don't condone some of her behavior but if as an individual she is able to stand by her actions and if this is who she really is on the outside then Bev my words for you are : You rather be hated for who you are than liked for who you are not!!!

I would rather have a sister like Bev any day than someone like Feza who pretends to be this nice, sociable person while her heart is full of hate and wickedness towards other people. Be yourself Bev and when you get outside you'll be able to say your actions may have disappointed some people but never were you a false representation of yourself. People like Bimp and Feza act like they're nice but their actions portray two faced people who do things to avoid being nominated to to be voted for.

How she's doing today: She's fine.

How her and fellows broke the fast: They broke it with a large meal, Melvin and Feza helped to prepare.

What the focus on HIV means to her: She says that she has a lost a very close friend who died of HIV/AIDS, she also says that it's better to fight stigma because it's very much in her country and that more sensitization about the disease is needed.

Why she thinks that most HIV/AIDS information falls on deaf ears: She says that some people just don't care about their lives but even if the information falls on deaf ears, information should be constantly given to the teens mostly.

Biggie asks her what she has learnt from the Au's campaign: She says they should continue to encourage each other and unite, agriculture should be improved and poverty and lack energy should also be fought.

How her preparation for the video is coming along: She says that as much as she's a rapper, she always wants to call her self a musician and that it's coming along.

Biggie then asks her to come up with a rap about HIV/AIDS right now in the Diary Room: She refuses ad promises him tomorrow when she's ready.

Biggie ask her what she stands against: She says hatred, violence and anger.

Fasting wasn't easy she got a headache cos that's what been hungry does to him...was grateful however cos it was dedicated to those out there who can't afford good food..poverty is bad cos it's deprived people especially kids of a good healthy life...AU is doing there things and have set goals which was started in Addis Ababa...the count rise have increased in nos..the platform he has as given Jim an added voice...
the 1 campaign is also added there voice and everyone needs to do there bits...HIV, AIDS is real and people need to know that...people take it for granted unless someone the know is involved...abstinence, faithfulness n using of condoms..there should be edu...proper usage of condoms and infected people lending a voice to the call....he's started his chase tour concept and will incorporate all he's he learnt into it and will g rt the appropriate bodies in his country into it,..he will also get bike riders back home....he will do other things outside the chase tour by setting up a foundation...
Malaria is one of the worst menace in Gh...even though the govt has things in place and there's awareness on that already...he intends to go to the rural areas with his bikers boys...he stands for the fact that the Africa union as a whole coming together to eradicate sickness is good but he feels the greater need is poverty...the AU double what they are doing spread more n grow faster..

The issue of judging people about who they choose to sleep with is disturbing. IMO age shouldn't matter, it's the quality of the relationship that matters. I find that dating my age group is challenging. Although I struggle to look at an older man as a potential boyfriend, I am okay with women who are comfortable with it.

FEZA's DS

She found the fast very difficult..they tried sleeping but it wasn't working and they woke up early to cook .. prayed and ate together...issue of aids is important to her..an aunt passed away n she also has family members with the disease...it's personal to her especially the way some of them got it...she wouldn't say people are ignorant but are rather unaware of the disease...it's the way people have chosen to look at it..it's dirty n filthy...it's down to knowledge n personal choices...biggest lesson she's learnt from the 1 campaign awareness is to educate people n will continue to scream about it....

Her country really needs to be education..formally n informally...in her country it's a big problem cos if that can be tackled other things will be too...her P.S.A video was hard yesterday but today she's such in good spirit and she might decide to change the song but isn't sure yet .....the HIV mirror task has been finished and it's outside ( she was confused about what biggie meant).... She stands for love...she's against( asked bb for a word to describe looking down on people),Biggie said ' Patronizing'..

How he has been affected personally by AIDS : He's been affected by pple who have died, friends and so may other ways. He adds dat he has also learned to take care of her partner and being careful

His country's biggest issue: Alcohol abuse, Road accidents, ple drink recklessly

Wat he'd do to make things better: It's hard but he's show the pple the dangers of drink and drive. He adds dat pple shd knw the reality of drink and deriving and making them aware dat it has dangers

#teampokello, so pokello has been campaigning for dillish on twitter and people have been criticising her for not supporting hakeem's girl cleo. Now pokello and cleo know each other from before bba via cleo's manager who's also pokello's son's uncle. Pokello obviously doesn't get along with her son's father or his fam. Now my thing is, why is pokello being given grief for supporting dillish when we all know that cleo didn't like poki. The girls even warned hakeem about the other, so clearly there are issues there that are irrelevant, but can we let my fave support whomever her heart chooses. Now let me stalk her TL

Fasting isn't foreign to her and it helped her meditate on those that don't have,..everyone was touched in one way or the other...different housemates already had what they were doing before n will go back to intensify there efforts when they get back home...she knows abt HIV/aids dos of the knowledge from sch n social media ...it's beyond condom, safe sex...people shouldn't be looked down on cos of there status...she lost weight drastically from 14-6 and was stigmatized for it and it took her a while to check herself...

Awareness should be intensified cos some are even embarrassed to go for free retroviral drugs...her country is knowledgeable about the disease but they are ignorant n non chalant about the disease and this is a national problem....it should be discussed nicely with people so that they wouldn't be scared...her video is a short poem since its only 30secs...this has been the fastest task in terms of completion in her stay in the house..everyone is committed to this....she stand for free education but the freeness shouldn't devalue the education cos education empowers a nation and the foundation Africa needs..

What HIV/AIDS means to him personally: He says that he lost his uncle and his Dad's younger brother and their families where very affected, that he saw his Dad shed tears for the first time. He further says that this disease has affected Africa in so many years but personally he says he can't explain more.

Biggie asks him what should be done to fight this disease: He says in his country a lot has and is being done but this the disease it still stronger. The government is also doing a lot in fighting the disease and stigma. He also says that condom commercial have now changed, condom companies have now changed from trying to fight AIDS to making profits.

Bimp also says that there's another problem of child mortality in the rural areas and that some people also hide the AIDS patients because they don't want other people to see them, they says that these patients bring disgrace to their families because they contracted HIV/AIDS.

@Abby as per your question I think Elikem...I've seen him evolve and to be honest, he's given people things to talk about. He may be loud, brash and a knuckle head most of the time but he's a nice guy with talent. Melvin is a good guy but if he wasn't from Nigeria there wouldn't be so much brouhaha over him. I just wish Elikem and Melvin can make a pact to share the money regardless of who wins. That way both housemates' supporters will be mobilized.

You now another thing I think works in this game is a housemate coming from the right country. I can imagine if people like Elikem, Pokello or Sulu coming from strong countries like SA or Nigeria, it would be a winning element as viewers always have a biase (in favour or against) those countries which already gives you a higher level of exposure than others.

@Abby I strongly believe Bev...Who she is in that house is exactly who she is in the outside. She is not perfect. She is young,wild,free and showed all her flaws. She behaved careless just like any 21 year old with her character. She showed each and every side of her good,bad and worse and not apologetic about who she is. I am not condoning some of her behaviour but damn some people have done worse and she is just being herself not pretending. But most seem to have come out strong, I really can't say the same for feza or beverly though. My @boogs what exactly do you miss about our milkshake, tjerr, that girl had me adjusting the tv volume every time she came on. If I may add my 2 cents worth this light skinned issue to me is just another sad remnant of colonialism, slavery etc where this eurocentric view of everything caucasian or closer to caucasion is deemed better/more beautiful, its the same witgh hair but don't wanna get into that one as I've had my quota of heated debates about that... Anyhoo its kind of comical n cringeworthy but most of all so bloody sad that Bev had such a hectic life and experienced so much that she is now ready for marriage @ 21, can't speak for anyone else but when my friends and I were 21 all we wanted to do was have fun, live life and boys were secondary on our agendas its just sad shame... @khadjos ur comment on feza and her relationshipp behaviour is so on point I found myself nodding in agreement whilst reading like an idiot as if u can see me ;)

so the other blogs have been reporting for the past couple of days on how Angelo is uncomfortable with the blimp's relationship with Beverly and that there's been some tension between the two men. i havent read anything about it here, has any one noticed this?
apparently bimp feels angelo is jelous of his friendship with bev, which angelo has denied, and bimp feels disrespected by angelo
angelo called bimp a "boy" the other day (bimp said goodnight and angelo replied "goodnight boy"), which bev found funny, but bimp didnt like it. angelo justified it by saying thats what he calls his friends back home.
