Why am I not surprised? BBA was right to drop them last year but new sponsors Airtel must have pressured AfricaMagic to return them because of their large population (over 90 million); never mind only a tiny fraction of the country actually understands, let alone speaks, English and an even smaller percentage has access to DSTV which isn't common in Ethiopia. Even Blimp told Selly BBA isn't a big deal in his country and he can't become a celeb based on it.

Suing betty, that's taking it a bit too far. I'll admit having sex with a guy you've known for 3days on tv is skanky but to be sued for it? Hayman, I'm sure those lawyers have better cases to concentrate on. But I have to say bimp the boring pimp is right, not every country takes bba as serious as others. Most sa bba reps have long been forgotten and non are celebs as a result(barbs was already a well known model, the same with luclay, who's an actor). Maybe lerato but she's more popular amongst celebs, not ordinary people. Zuma couldn't care less about bba (unlike some prez). @Khadjos ... the only time I saw Kenyans get excited about BBA was last year because of Prezzo and he was already a celeb and his blunt brashness is something Nairobians like. No one has become big off the back of the show and most of them from the Malonzas to the Jeremys have quickly returned to anonymity. And no, President Uhuru has no time to waste with reality show contestants.

The thing about it not being a big deal in Ethiopia is because DSTV has very few subscribers there because most people don't understand English and therefore don't watch English-speaking tv. It's a very conservative, traditional and religious country. And most of the satellite dishes you see on houses are for those Arab world channels.

But Ethiopians have a very large populations abroad, especially, in America and some of them are returning, so mostly from this small pool does DSTV get its audience.

In Nigeria, even Kevin, the very first Nigerian winner of BBA is back to who he was prior to winning the show. Nobody sees or hear of him. Same as ola and chris of last year, ofunneka now lives in australia with her husband.... Bayo is, well, I do not know. The only popular ones are Uti and Karen. There is a possibility of Bev and Mel to still be popular after the show but that is because they were already fairly known Bev being the Oleku/Alingo girl and Mel being on some tv show on African magic. In Nigeria, you can still remain popular but it takes A LOT of work. You don't just sit down and expect magic to happen.

@brennie yeah about Mampi. After BBA, most of the radio stations in Nigeria (port harcourt, to be specific) started playing Mampi's songs a lot despite not knowing who she was prior to the show. The truth is, if you want to benefit from BBA, you have to already have something going on for you before you enter. So that when you come out, it would help you a bit.

Feza's Ds....she's okay. The mood in da BBA hs is lovely n jolly n they r happy. Da weddin is comin along g8t, da wedding dress n bridesmaid dresses r done, da cake is almost done n da car is almost done.
Biggie asks how her fiance is doing? She said he's lookin at other ladies bum 4 da last time b4 they tie da knot...giggling.
Biggie asks what she thinks aba sulu n selly's "rel'ship'...she thinks sulu's in denial aba his rel'ship wit selly. She thinks selly's remorseful but isn't so sure cuz its complicated.
She says Owl likes sulking but she's understandin his flaws n they'll work on it.
He's difficult to handle but she likes a challenge. Biggie gave her an advice earlier (have no idea what advice) but it blew up in her face so she jux kept quiet n eventually he came back 2 open up 2 her.
SHe thinks having Oneil around makes her care more....she now cares aba what she wears n how she looks. She'd rather be at da diamond hs cuz she does not want pple 2 know dis side of her.

Fatima's ds.....she started off shaky, was in a bad mood but da cake task has made her okay. She's feeling sensitive at da moment n any little thing pisses her off. She loves da wedding task, its funny n exciting.
Last 9t they had da traditional wedding n it felt so real. She said it brought back memories 4 feza n they r all in character n she wants 2 see how feza n oneil will work out. She says dis is da best task 4 since she's been there.
She said elikem has tried 2 cheer her up though she wanted 2 be left alone but he eventually snapped her out of it though he was pissin her off wit his persistent.
She says pple thinks she's upset cuz she's up 4 eviction but she's jux not in a good mood n has nothin 2 do wit da eviction.
She says oneil was tryna make a triangle dat she likes elikem n elikem likes poke n it pissed her off but she said angelo defended her. She says annabel, sulu,tasha n co make snide comments as if she likes elikem n is upset dat he likes Poke. She said oneil started it n now they r all now makin such comments n it's gettin 2 her. Only feza understands n defends her cuz she's close 2 elikem too so gets her.

When Oneal isn't happy with something or someone he speaks out and I get his point, otherwise he is quite or hanging in the jaccuzi with the guys, I never see him talking down to people, I have never 2. Whenever Angelo speaks to Anna, its always in a fun way, and Anna takes everything he says hard and curses him out, even if its something harmless that he says to everyone, Anna always takes offence. @drama, there is the thing,....that I have never seen Oneal talk down, but state what he wants and doesn't want or what he doesn't like etc, I guess there is a thin line between confidently standing up for what u are and what you want...and arrogance, different people will see it differently.

There's a thin line btn confidence n arogance n Oneil has crossed dat line. It's not about what he says per say, it's how he says it dats gets 2 me. He comes off as being wiser dan da others n 4rm my observation he does not see it as intentional thus makin it kinda like his nature. Not judgin him personally jux his game. I've flip flopped between liking him to almost disliking him in the first few weeks .But at this particular juncture;), the way I see it, he has had arrogant moments, just like everyone has had arrogant moments, he has had moments of talking down others, as have the others. Dunno if anyone noticed but soon after their fight, or rather Annabelle's outburst, they (Anna and Angelo) were back having a conversation, cordial conversation....this cycle has been happening since 1901 in diamonds house. They will get a long a bit more, until Annabelle's passion slash old wounds slash whatever else is awakened and she will rain down on Angelo again. One of them must go, even if its Angelo this sunday.

Oneil n feza bondin in da bath tub.
He says feza shd hug koketso after da show cuz she helped him realise his feelings 4 her n pushed him 2 act on it cuz he finds it hard 2 pursue rel'ships cuz he was focused on his career!
He says he believes God lives in him n they r both countin their blessings n namin them 1 by 1...their kids, jobs, chance at 300k(which will never happen lol) n meetin each other n all dat.

Bassey talkin aba his childhood 2 da diamonds in da kitchen except 4 poke, nando n hacleo who r mia..... his mom is a prostitute n when he was 2 she went 2 do her hair n told dem dat she can't take care of him so wants 2 guve him away. A girl playin smwhere(his sis) overhead da convo n went 2 tell her mom 2 adopt bassey so they took him 2 da police n did da paperworks 2 adopt him.
He has no idea who is dad is(neither does his biological mom da prostitute) or which race he's 4rm( bev da bunkun suggests dat he gets a DNA??? dumb much?) n does not want 2 know.
He loves his adopted family very much n regards them as his family n he auditioned 4 bba 4 them n whatever he'll do it's 4 dem. He's blessed n couldn't have wished 4 a better family.

Da diamonds except da mia crew i stated above r now goin over da lives of da rubies,eg, feza jux has her mom n her kid, tasha got married young,has a daughter n her husband used 2 beat her n stuff....same old same old aba what some of da hsmates have been thru...apparently, maria does not know her mom!

Tasha discussin annabel wit oneil. Laughin at anna dat she was sayin oneil was insultin her aba jux a savannah...tasha's mean.
