Clearly a showmance isn't a guaranteed ploy to stay in the show.

27-year-old Sierra Leone businessman Bolt Lewis got the boot from Big Brother on Sunday night, a week after the ousting of his on-screen girlfriend Betty. Bolt was evicted with Namibian schmodel and radio presenter Maria Nepembe who didn't seem to mind that she'd been sacrificed to save someone else.

She remained sunny throughout her Q&A with IK whereas Bolt was evasive and seemed to show no sign of wanting to see Betty outside of the house.

Here's a blow-by-blow of how the night unfolded, followed by what happened afterwards ...

I never know with musos ... I'm always suspicious that they pretend to be a lot richer than they are 'spesh after I heard a rumour that the Parlotones had to invest so much money to get famous:0 - doing free gigs, paying for their own transport and travel to performances, paying publicists etc. I heard the rumour about two to three years ago - the person who told me said they thought the group had spent a lot more money than they'd made.

Hi to all addicts, thanks for the updates. Zimbabwe is doing nothing when it comes to rigging I think there is nothing like that. This week Zimbabwe am sure voted for Hakeem and Africa did it for Pokello. I was voting for Pokello and am doing it based in south Africa, it can't in any way be called rigging. But thanks for the updates, night school teacher, abbylicious, drama, Weiss, Mrs Chx, green arrow. At this point I think the zimbabweans being in the same house are going to feel intimidated by each other's presence. Hope Natasha is given a break though.

@ Abby...Melvin doesn't stand a chance with Poke. She's that type of chick who's superficial about looks hence her attraction to an empty barrel like Elikem. Melvin has depth to his character but is drab so it won't happen. Elikem is arguably the best dressed male in the house and I strongly suspect that's what he has going for him with Poke.

Sometimes I don't know why I bother ... didn't see the potential in Maria? She finally woke their boy up and he started being interesting.

As for Zim, I hope they suffer another soul-crushing defeat a la Munya. Nothing hurts more than getting so close and having the prize snatched at the last moment.
