@carago....... No, I doubt they are. Think the show producers did a good job of selecting a whole lot of "wrecks" for the show. Most are either drop outs, from broken or non-existent homes, to single parents some of which were at one time single mothers to drug users (e.g Nando). They really wanted a show that won't be boring and they made sure they exposed the housemates in some way to each other since this season is centered on relationships.

As for me its Elikem I just don't understand. According to him he's the only hm who didn't meet any other hm prior to getting into the house. He meets Feza on opening these and barely one week into the show, he's crushed on and has been rejected by Feza. Fatima jumps in to fill the void but he's clearly not interested so he jumps ship and lands at the Ruby Hse where I believe offered him a better platform to shine. In effect the move gave him the chance to press the reset button. Great.

Now,,,he starts hitting on Pokello and its appears the feeling is mutual. All what this nigga got to do is move in to close the deal to mark his territory. But what does dumbo do instead? He goes in, playing games with Poki....and constant ramblings about Feza, who clearly does not even think of him anymore. How does he think he think this would also end?

Feza's plan to chase Melvin is a very strategic one that most people have not seen through. She's noticed that Melvin has a pretty strong chance to win the big prize, because of his personality and more importantly the whole Nigerian BBA legacy. So she's hoping to ride on his coat tails to reach the finals at least guaranteeing herself major exposure for a music career which she's hoping to launch from Nigeria. There's no real attraction to Melvin. Its all smoke and mirrors.

Her attraction to Elikem though is/was very genuine. Recently, about four days ago Bolt was teasing her: calling her Feza Komordzie (Elikem's surname), she was giggling and blushing like a teenage girl.

Elikem is like a fish out of water around "experienced" girls

Bimp has had it bad for Feza since day 1, and I can see it even now. But like most Ethiopian guys, dude has no game despite the americano accent.

No, I don't think Mel is gay (have very good gaydar, and actually suspect a couple of others besides flaming Bassey) but this guy seems straight as an arrow; Again, what I it really is: he's he's just not a very interesting man and like most naija housemates, seems on very on the conservative side. You have to remember only Goldie got romantically involved and how badly they reacted to it. Even IK scolded her during the live show. Meanwhile, Kenyans are laughing at Huddah for apparently trying and failing to land a man.

O'neal is a wise old goat but wasn't he into Cleo initially? And why isn't he tagged with the "boring" label when he has the exact same temperament and Neyll and Bimp?

Most of Nando's braincells were fried by drugs and the remaining few are geared towards getting high and laid; which is why he's now fixated on that cheap drink, Selly.

The alleged Angelo-Annabel sitch is a one way street; with Annabel doing the chasing. Angelo, meanwhile is fixated on Maria who isn't interested like that and is a milder version of Feza.

Bev, I like your carefree personality and even mild paranoia about guys liking you but the street kid jokes don't come from nowhere. You really look like you could use a bit of a scrub and a touch of a comb. Guys don't find filthy-looking girls attractive and even though I'm not saying you're filthy, you certainly look a hot MESS!

Bethlehem has been disowned by her country and should find a new home after she's evicted. The comments on Ethiopian blogs are vicious and I'd start to to fear for her family if I were her.

Delish is a tedious bore (I'm talking Miss Tourism Bots levels) and is all me, me, me, me, me. Nothing new to see here. Oh, and I don't find her pretty.

I know every year they try something new. Last year they had an upper class house blessed with our Lady of the Fifth Month who held her own until the last day.
Still, some of us didn't like that house which was infested with wanna-be's and snobs who thought the sun sat every morning on their behinds.
But at least Biggie gave us a choice to switch over to the other house - the xamadulas where regular folks like ourselves were.
We liked their craziness. It was almost like a showdown of the Tura at end of month with some characters that could easily be mistaken for xomchas (conmen), ncinas (pick-pockets), botsotsos (gangsters), straatmeide (sluts) and the likes.
There was enough entertainment with booze overflowing, quarrels, and backstabbings, near fistfights, some sexy encounters and more. With all those ingredients, who could have asked for a better show?
But this year I am asking myself if Multichoice ran out of ideas. Everything is so explicit that nothing is left to imagination. Is The Chase in other words the Sex Game? Because everything is about sex, sex... sex.
Why don't they then just start their own blue movie production company instead of trying to turn contestants who desperately need the moola into sex slaves?
It all started with Steve Urkel look-alike, BBA contestant Denzel, who was constantly half-naked. Muatje, what made this boy think that baring it all was his way of winning the coveted US$300 000? Or was he contracted by some modeling agency in the middle of winter to wear onder-broekies because nobody worth their while could be donning only that unless they are David Beckham.
Fortunately, this character was evicted from the house.
Ai, now where is our Inspector General when we need him the most? This is un-African and unacceptable. It doesn't seem like the sex madness is anywhere near its end. Denzel's behaviour was just a tip of the iceberg. Now, all and sundry feel they must be seen with their underwear even if their kapundas are hanging out or their chicken legs are not the next best meal on the menu.
Not to talk of those caught with their pants down in the act. I cannot see how this show is not promoting anything else other than pornography, immorality and casual sex knowing well that the Continent is reeling with the worst statistics when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases.
Askies, if you feel I am old-fashioned and uptight, but there are certain things that should be kept away from the public eye.
We don't have to lose our morals and standards in order to apparently be upbeat with the times. Some things are just plain wrong.

Pokello's father speaks out, comments on Pokello and Stunner's sex tape ZIMBABWE's representative in Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase, Pokello Nare has her roots in Matabeleland South's Gwanda district.

This was revealed by her father, Retired Colonel George Nare in an exclusive interview on Tuesday. Retired Colonel Nare appealed to Zimbabweans to support his daughter and save her from eviction this weekend.

"We are of a royal descent, the Babirwa Clan in the lineage of Sikoba Morole, the chief of the Babirwas, who is now based in Botswana," said Rtd Col Nare. We are Sotho by origin and we come from Manama area in rural Gwanda in Matabeleland South."

Rtd Col Nare said the survival of the 27-year-old Pokello in the prime reality show hinged on the support she gets from home and Africa as a whole.

The visibly excited Rtd Col Nare, now a successful farmer and miner in Esigodini, said he was confident that his daughter would make Zimbabwe proud by winning the $300 000 prize.

"I am so happy that my daughter has been nominated to represent Zimbabwe in (BBA). As her father, I fully support her in her quest to realise her dream on the show. I want Pokello to win that $300 000 prize. I vote for her everyday and appeal to fellow Zimbabweans from all walks of life to rally behind her. Asimsekeleni umntwana ngowethu. I do not want publicity for myself but for my country, which my daughter is representing. She is like an ambassador and needs our support so that she does not get evicted," said Rtd Col Nare.

Pokello is up for possible eviction this Sunday after getting the highest number of nominations in the Ruby House this week.
However, Rtd Col Nare said he believed Pokello has what it takes to win the big prize and raise the Zimbabwean flag high. He described her as a brave fighter.

Commenting on his daughter's 2010 sex tape incident, Rtd Col Nare said Pokello was a mature person who should not be judged by what she does in private. He said the incident does not mean she was of loose morals as she had a boyfriend and was enjoying herself in private.

"The video footage was not meant for public consumption and the person who leaked it should be guilty of character assassination. My daughter has a strong personality and would not be weakened by that. She is a successful businesswoman," said Rtd Col Nare.

He said his daughter was a unique person who would not change her behaviour overnight.

"Personally I am not a BBA fan but as her biological father, Pokello has made me fall in love with the show. So far I am happy with the way she has conducted herself. People should understand what she is and she cannot pretend to be something else just because she is on the screen. She should be supported for what she is," said Rtd Col Nare.

Pokello did her primary and secondary education at Kyle College in Masvingo Province and is a holder of a degree in Media and Communication Science from a South African university.

She is the first born to Rtd Col Nare and Ms Bessy Muzvidzwa, a Harare businesswoman. However, the two separated. Rtd Col Nare's other children with the woman he is married to are Lerato, Teboho and Uratile.

@green arrow,I'm not good at story telling lol. Bt ill try. O'neal said when he was young , they moved to a very remote village. His mum had to keep them out of the village school to maintain sanity. Later on he moved to d city and stayed with his extended family who were doing weed,alcohol or dealing with stolen goods. He was admitted in standard 3 even though he had skipped st 1 and 2 in d village. He had a passion for English,so he took up reading. That's what helped him. I think that's about it. Oh and along d way,he lost his elder brother
