More cool news on the Muvhango castings front ... the show's on the prowl again, searching for actors to play two new characters.
The soapie held an open casting call
earlier this year to cast actors in three roles and now they're doing it again, except in two extra cities.
The auditions start this Monday, (28 November) in Lesotho and then move to Bloemfontein and Jozi.
These are the venues and dates:
LesothoDate: Monday, 28 November
Venue: Lesotho Sun Conference Centre (Hilton Road; Maseru)
BloemfonteinDate: Tuesday, 29 November
Venue: Pacofs (12 First Avenue; Westdene Side; Bloemfontein)
JohannesburgDate: Thursday, 1 December
Venue: Bassline (10 Henry Nxumalo Street; Newtown; JHB).
These are the characters the show's looking to cast:
- Njabulo Chabeli (between 30 and 40) - should be a SeSotho speaking male actor with an ability to speak some Zulu as well who will play the role of a lawyer.
- Carol Chabeli - should be a lady who is in her late 20's to mid 30's and should be Sotho speaking.
Audition must-knows
Auditions take place between 09h00 and 16h00.
You'll need to perform a scene/monologue. Scripts for the characters will be available at the auditions.
