Got a dance crew? Step Up or Step Out!

Are you a member of a street dance crew? If so, then get ready to pop, lock and roll as e.tv searches for the hottest dance crews in the country in its latest reality competition, Step Up or Step Out.

Produced by Endemol, the show will feature street dance crews competing for a grand prize - similar to Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew.

Step Up or Step Out will follow the journey of eight street dance crews from across South Africa as they take on the greatest challenge: to execute thrilling dance routines to avoid elimination and dance their way to the top.

The various dance styles to be included in the show are hip-hop (including krumping, voguing, popping, locking, etc.), sbujwa, kwaito, pantsula and many more.

In the world of backstreet dancing, the toughest and most dogged performers always come out on top, and Step Up or Step Out will test the limits of these performances and not just push the envelope, but tear it into little pieces.

e.tv and Endemol will travel to Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg to find the best South African street dance talent, so don't miss out on the auditions.

The channel has extended an invitation to all South African dance crews (3-5 members) who are 18 years and older to audition on the following days:

Johannesburg: Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April

Venue:
Park Station Blue Room (Johannesburg)
C/o Rissik and Plein Street
Braamfontein

Cape Town: Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April

Venue:
Theatre in the District
106 Chapel Street
District 6
Cape Town

Durban: Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April

Venue:
Durban Natural Science Museum
Research Centre
151 KE Masinga Road (cnr. Of Wyatt Road)
Durban

You can find out more about the show by visiting the official website: www.stepuporstepout.co.za

Step Up or Step Out premieres on e.tv on Sunday 8 May at 18h05 and will be followed by Step Up or Step Out: Flipside on Tuesday 10 May, at 20h30.
