LOL. Yha, while we wait for Pru.

True about naivity. What made me feel otherwise about using the word "naive" is coz I sort of had a picture of my partner and i just felt how bad I would actually be if I had to put him in that position.

She said to him " promise you wont screw with me as i also wont screw with you" (paraphrased). he said i wont, she said i wont and off they shagged. Their promise to each other however unromantic and "rushed" was true as the movie proved...

The thing that gets us screwed in the end is that we get too quick to act and make decisions based on how we feel and what the moment calls for - it's like we become brain dead for a few seconds. But wabona this lady got her head into the situation and had she not made him make that promise, she was gon get crewed for sure and guess where she was gon end up - in self-pity and self-hatred. mara she helped herself by taking the bull by the horns even in that moment of drunken passion.

I do hope Intersexions tonight will open up a bigger platform for this too.

And this is not to say when you ask "dont screw me" and the response is " i promise i wont", then you wont be...it has to be an active promise where one knows that if they screw you here and there, this are the concequences.

We realy should stop vieving this "dont screw me" conversation as offensive. It can save one's life or save one from heartache. Damnit i dont like being hurt!! I sense it like those landmine sensing staff....i wish i can get reaaaaaaaly good it at that i avoid it forever as much as i have so far....
