On Motswako this Monday, 7 March 2011:

As the world celebrates International Women’s Day (on 8 March), Motswako investigates human trafficking in South Africa.

The show looks at the link to underage prostitution and the number of missing women and children who are tricked, transported, trapped and traded on the market like merchandise.

What is the law doing to prevent human trafficking and prosecute traffickers?

The show also investigates the pros and cons of legalizing prostitution as a means of empowering women economically and preventing the free market of human trafficking.

Guests joining Penny are: Dr Namane Magau, Nozizwe Madlala Routledge, Corrine Sandenbergh and Nomonde Meji.

Motswako is on SABC2 on Mondays at 21h30.

i wanda bazothini, couse poverty ibambile la, and people need money to feed their kids and families. yes there is child support grant but its not enough R250 for a month? come on guys its not fair. mna i would people tenders money so that they can employ more people and make sure that they are employing people than making human trafficking legal.
