How do you define the word?

Some say they are few when days are dark....
Some say they lift you up when you are down, they give a helping hand,they give you a shoulder to lean on.

but really, what is a friend or how do you define the friend that you have?

A friend is someone like GML, who doesn't hesitate to tell you that what you are doing is sh*t, and bonus it with the reasons why she thinks that...lol
a friend is someone who has the guts to praise you when you deserve it and the guts to tell you that you fucked up, and still help you build or move on after your *bleep!* up.

I feel you Carino. This topic should have been elaborated further by the writer or atleast give a scenario as to why he/she felt the need to ask the question. That would have made this more interesting and open for a broader discussion.
