Ok Nerine_Rampono... but you made a mistake neh you didnt ask that, you jst asked what happened, that's why i asked where,  you shouls have added a context in your article and wrote your questions there ...

Anyway, i dont know if we will ever have Biggest Looser SA but i believe that when powers-that-be in TVSA have the information about it, they will let us know until then you must just stayed glued on TVSA..... hope this help

Or better yet find the production company that produced it and ask if there will be any other seasons or not, im certan they will be able to answer you .... Good luck, in the meantime you can just go to the nearest gym or find yourself a personal trainer or a dietician to help you with your diet, that's if you are the one who wanted to enter Biggest looser

If it was more about money that loosing wait, you can keep playing LOTTO, LOTTO PLUS and POWERBALL you must be lucky and get more than R100K.

hope this help -- all the best

Dear Best Achiever...I don't have money for gym and it's not about money for me. It's about a healthier lifestyle with somebody's assistance....LOL! Do you perhaps know the name of the production company who produced Biggest Loser SA? Maybe I will take you up on that suggestion of getting in touch with them. As for the context, I like to get people talking so I think it was a good thing that I only said "What happened?" don't you?

Dear Holiday, are you giving me language lessons?

And evrything else....BA,you made my day...you got the first chuckle out of me today...yes the very first.

@ Realist...i thought the last quarter GDP reported positive?..
I do know for a fact that the recession aftermaths are still very horrible in the mining/metallurgy industry. But i was under the impression were out of the red zone?

03 May 2010 15:59

@GA: The two sectors you have mentioned are still struggling. Remember SA economy shed about 1 million jobs and those people are still struggling to find employment. This recession is going to be with us for a long time. Look at the JSE, it is just hovering between the 28000 and 29000 points. It is still tough out there.

Green.arrow

It is still tough out there.....that is very true realist
In the broad sense of the word (which i just wikipedia'd) we are still in it for while. It does nothing to help the prevailing unemplymernt stats in the country.

sorry Nerine for the offtopic, i believe BA gave you a lot help...comprehensive actually.

Back to recession: I never believed untill recently (as in last week) that a qualified individual (say with an honours degree in science +) from a prestigious university (let alone with experience) could struggle to get employment. Things are looking really bad for the new graduates at the moment. I cant decode financial indicators to save my life (note to self..i must make a date with google for economics 101) nor do i understand the JSE business...but i hope that things will get better with time.

Back to recession: I never believed untill recently (as in last week) that a qualified individual (say with an honours degree in science +) from a prestigious university (let alone with experience) could struggle to get employment.
Imagine the ones with degrees that are just that … (No offense), how will they manage to find employment?

Like you said if the mining sector and steel industry do not pick up you can be sure that this recession is going to be with us for a long time. As you know the JSE is heavily tilted in favour of resources and if they do not perform you can be sure that when we go on pension we will be poor like hell.
