Armpits are itchy

Hi mabloggers

I know niyathanda ukuhlekisa ngee nkinga zabanye abantu but I will post this article anyway coz kade ngzama different things and I don’t get help.

I have a problem with my armpits, they are smelly and they sweat a lot. I’ve tried different roll-ons ---- cheap to expensive, to no help.
At the moment I am using an expensive one, I never even thought in the life of me I will buy a roll-on that costs so much.
It worked for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day but after those three days I was sweating again and a smelly-smelly odor was there too.
I have to say this makes me loose my self-esteem coz I end up wearing long sleeve things at times just to close the bad odor in the long sleeve top. It’s hot now and I cant carry on wearing the long sleeve tops, or else ngizosangana la ekhanda.
It was better in winter but now that’s hot ivumba liyinkinga.

Please advice what should I do or use.

BTW, I am a lady – I shave (with those creams) and I’m at a point where I just hate shaving right now coz no creams leaves my armpits itchiness free and now my armpits are full of dark marks as well.

Hi 1 .... im deeply touched by your problem, i'll try and help you as much as i can, i will make my own recommendations too.

1. I'd advise you to get Mitchum ...roll on, it real help for people with sensitive and easily irrirated skin, and yours seem to fall in this category
2. After you have taken a bath, make sure that you under arms are dry before putting on the roll on
3. After you have wore your roll on, make sure it dries in your under arm before wearing anything
4. When your under arm has dried , apply Johnson and Johnson baby powder, it will help your under arm not to sweat easily .
5. Wear clothing with cotton ... no silk or other material ... until your under arms are used to this and dont sweat or get irritated easily.

I hope this will help you and it works for you .... you can also go see the skin doctor.

Do i do this before or after applying roll on?

Do it after you have put on the roll and it has dried in your skin ....no traces of wetness before applying baby powder.

if you are alredy using this roll on, try to add the baby powder part

sometimes we have to go back in the olden days.
Use bicarbonate of soda, mix it with water and apply it.
there will be no sweating and the smell will be gone.

if u believe in ukuthakathwa, u must go and see 1 sangoma maybe isichitho and the itchyness and dark marks kungaba izintwala ezingaphakathi.
That means you must treat yourself ngesizulu which is amakhambi.

A collegue of myn was having a same problem as yours she was using expensive roll ons tried the baby powder and everything kodwa nothing was helping her and another lady told her to go to the sangoma and thats when she got help.

I suggest u try the baby powder as BA advised u, if its not working i suggest u go see a sangoma.

and im sorry for laughing i was not laughing at your problem but at your title
i was imagining you scratching your armpits....thats why laughed

i feel very bad
sowri ne zim zim

ok use BA's advice
but me 2c is that after you bath at night (  and bathing at night is VERY important) apply a paste of bircabonate of soda on your armpits

if you shave do it at night and dont apply anything for that night
just make sure your are dry before you sleep

@Zim.

My friend also sweats a lot

She tried speedstick for men. It helped her a lot. It helped keep her dry.

She also carried ama wet wipes for when she started sweating she would wipe herself up and reapply speedstick.

She would just go to the toilet and do it. She never had a bad odour because she wiped herself everytime she felt like she was sweating.

I will shave at night before I sleep coz everytime after I've shaved my armpits they get irritated by the roll on and I think that's how I get the dark marks
Mpums if absolutely nothing and I mean nothing works then I will consider the sangoma but I don't like them that much

GML I will carry the wet wipes as well

Forget all this advice people are giving you, no roll on can work coz there is actually a medical explanation. The condition is called hyperhydrosis, which can be easily cured surgically. The procedure is called sympathectomy.
so go see your doctor about it....hope it helps

Thank you bigmama, i feel welcomed already.

amansese / Heels Cracks.
U just need to by her a Foot Cream from Avon, it removes the hard skin and leave your heels soft so if the heel is soft there will be no cracks. it only crack because it got that hard skin.
