I only have one question " Why did they not put up Nkenna and Geraldine"

My jaw dropped when they only announced Itai and Leonel. How blatant can these people be. They will hand this to Nigeria by hook or crook.

GRAVEYARD UPDATE:

Task: Revolution Blues
Over the next three days, housemates have to assume and maintain characters which are part of a downtown Blues Club, which they also have to create.

The characters have to be maintained throughout the day, whether in the shower, bed or training.

Each housemate has been given a character and a description of that character.

They have also been supplied with the relevant costumes.

I think I am going to like this task and it will kinda like stop the grave from sinking.

Character: King Vinnie – Jazz Club Owner (Kevin) I hope rapping is not allowed.

Public image:
Owner of the night club (does this mean he is a dj too?). Lover of good music and supporter of down-and-out musicians. Cool & good humoured kwa kwa kwa (swagger). Laid back with a large amount of underlying aggression that comes out in shouting fits. Shrewd businessman – is thought in some circles to have criminal connections. Married to Mrs Vinnie (Nkenna) kwa kwa kwa kkaaaaaaa
Unfortunately he has a lisp. All “S” sounds come out as “TH”
Practice line: “Don’t be silly” would come out as “Don’t be thilly.”
He hates Donald De Lancey’s (Leonel) food and criticizes him often. lol

Private image:
Ruthless
Is really involved in criminal activity
Is having an affair with Ms Soprano – lead singer of the club who is currently on tour

Ms Soprano got pregnant
She has threatened to tell his wife
Money has been stolen from the club. He suspects Toots (Itai) because Ms Soprano told him that she saw him take money from the till.

Im glad FSPUG is not in the house - she would want to be the lead actress.

Nkenna is King Vinnie’s Wife: Nikki to her friends, and Mrs Vinnie to the employees

Public image:
Ruthless woman (good FSPUG is gone - she wouldnt survive Mrs Vinnie)
Cold hearted
Married to Vinnie for his money (igbo women)
Likes herself more than anyone else
Habbit: “always wears her fur shawl and strokes it constantly”

Private image:
She has a drinking problem. Whenever anyone else is drinking, she tries to steal from their glasses without them seeing. She drinks stock from the bar and tries to hide it from everyone.

(this part would have suited vuil pop better kwa kwa kwa WSG - Vuil pop would just deliver this well without even acting)
Dislikes all the women that are associated with the club
Jealous of husband’s relationships and to retaliate, she tries to chat up all of the men in the club – especially Toots (Itai).

Profile: Betty Bee- Bopp (Emma)

Emma is Betty Bee-Bopp the Sexy Vocalist: (oh please, not again)

Public image:
Performs at the club regularly as a backup vocalist. Everyone knows that she wants to be the lead singer. (I doubt if she is going to come off character after Thursday)
She has big dreams of leaving the club and becoming a superstar, she does leave from time to time, but is back within days with her tail between her legs; asking for her job back

Private image:
She is secretly in love with Toots (Itai)
Doesn’t like to let him out of her sight at any time
She over reacts to everything.
She is very envious of Ms Soprano

Secrets:

She obsesses about what she can’t have – i.e. Toots who doesn’t love her and Ms Soprano, who has the lead singing position in the club

Betty will always be second best
She lost a record deal because Ms Soprano slept with the record producer and convinced him to rather cancel the contract.

Eddie is Willie “old shoes” Smith, a Janitor in the Club

Public Info:
Willie is the sweet janitor working in the club . He has a kind word for everyone. He is a loyal worker and always asks if he can go for a smoke break or to the toilet. (That is Eddie, right there)

He calls all men “sir” and all women “mam” Doesn’t drink alcohol (kwa kwa kwa, does this mean that Eddy is going to spent the next three days withouth booze?)

Doubles up as the barman at nights (another ambition - recovering alcoholic to man the bar?) Everyone likes him, but he is a bit of a loner (not really. he has 2 9ijas under his sleeve)
Doesn’t like physical contact

Private Info:
Drinks bourbon on the quiet
Ms Soprano got him the job at the club
He is fairly close to Toots Jaxon (Itai) (We all know this, he saved his ass last nite)

Actually he is Ms Soprano’s father, but he will never tell anyone. (kwa kwa kwa - the O-Scary people are going to find this very foni - they were complaining about an old man pranking kids - and now to hear that he is someones father in the house- ha ha ha ha ha)

He also has a son called Toots (Itai) who is a musician (saxophone) and plays at the club on a regular basis. he he he
His son Toots has spent time in jail because he took the wrap for his sister (Willie’s daughter - Ms Soprano) who had stolen money before.

She is pregnant with Vinnie’s child and is desperate. He is afraid that she will steal money from Vinnie and blame her brother as before. Toots would end up going back to jail. This makes Willie very nervous. He can’t let his son go to jail innocently again tjo, this is hectic man

Itai is Toots Jaxon, Saxophone player

Public info:
He is an honest musician. He is supportive of “Old Shoes” . He plays a mean sax. He is charming except with Ms Soprano – surprisingly cool. He doesn’t talk much. (more like him - he only whines and scheme)

Most ladies like him, but he is not really interested. (and who are these ladies?) Mrs Vinnie wants to seduce him, but he’s not interested at all. kwa kwa kwa - He lives alone and gets swept away by Jazz music, his only love. When he’s not playing, he helps out as a waiter in the club.

Private info:
He is on parole. Was in jail for stealing money. He has been hurt a lot and his only passion is music. He is scared of going back to jail. It wasn’t a fun experience.

He has been in jail, has a criminal record and is on probation His sister is Ms Soprano, but no one else knows that. His father is “Old Shoes” (Eddie) and knows his story. He ended up in jail because of Ms Soprano. She stole money and framed him, sending him to jail. She is now pregnant with Vinnie’s child and is stealing money from Vinnie. Vinnie suspects Toots because Ms Soprano implicated him.

Leonel is Donald “Dice” De Lancey, The chef

Public info:
He is from Brazil. Has affinity for good carving knives. Proud of his collection with his initials on them. His cooking is not very good. He is absent minded and keeps forgetting things on the stove, missing ingredients etc. He LOVES chocolate. He hates Vinnie (Kevin) because Vinnie is rude about his food. He thinks his food is great. He is very paranoid – he thinks everyone is gossiping about him and his food all of the time.

Private info:
He spends a lot of time sharpening his knives. The precision of a good dicing secretly excites him. He is secretly in love with Scarlet (Geraldine) and sniffs her hair every time she walks past. (not secretly - everyone knows about it)

Ms Soprano is trying to get him fired. He caught Vinnie and Ms Soprano smooching in the pantry – they are having an affair. He threatened to tell everyone about the affair. She threatened to have him deported out of the country because he doesn’t have a working permit.

The housemates, clad in their costumes, have already started familiarizing themselves with their new characters, as part of this week’s task; Blues Revolution.

Welcome to Blues Revolution Club

This evening Big Brother would like to see a presentation, the club in action.

There should be some musical entertainment, drinks served, sultry dancing, and whatever else housemates feel is appropriate in a club of this nature.

During the course of the day, Housemates must get to know each others’ characters in as much detail as possible. All characters have secrets.

So who’s who, in the Club?

King Vinnie (Kevin); Ruthless Jazz Club Owner, married to Mrs. Vinnie.

Mrs. Vinnie aka Nikki (Nkenna); Cold hearted and married to Vinnie for his money.

Betty Bee-bopp (Emma); Sexy Jazz Vocalist with big dreams of becoming a superstar.

Alburta Malahyde (Mzamo); Dodgy Music Agent, cigar smoking-gambling addict.

Willie “old shoes” Smith (Edward); sweet sober janitor employed in the Club and calls everyone “sir” or “madam”.

Toots Jaxon (Itai); Charming Saxophone player and ex-convict on parole, who’s being seduced by Mrs. Vinnie and most ladies.

Donald “Dice” De Lancey (Leonel); Brazilian-born chef who’s a bad cook and hates Mr. Vinnie because he’s always criticizing his food.

Scarlet (Geraldine); Lady of the night and no man is safe when she’s around, and no one knows about her two children.

One of the characters, Ms. Soprano, the lead singer, will join the housemates tomorrow (Wednesday).

Can't wait to see who this Ms Soprano will turn out to be!!!!!
