Let's talk about unforgettable tv and movie moments ...

My unforgettable movie of all time was Chicago ..i fell in love with the movie the first time i watched it....I think it was because of the musical theme they had.

Then me and my friends used to watch Waiting to Exhale - like everytime we got together - the characters were so much like us that we enjoyed watching it over and over again.

They decided to make Sex and the City the It thing but do u guys remember Living Single? It was about Black ladies more or less like Sex and City but it never got really famous.

And oh the days when Brown Sugar came out, my God i loved Taye Diggs, and that other movie Best Men - what happened to darkie movies? They don't make them like they used to anymore.

I grew up Watching Knight Rider and Kit , and MacGyver who used to escape from tight situations in the last 2 seconds before a bomb blast.

Now i am a sucker for Horrors too - when Final Destination first aired, my Gosh i thought it was the scariest movie of all time.

I have watched Wrong Turn 1 and 2 twice and The Hills Have Eyes, like 4 times - not forgetting The Ring, my gosh when that girl came out of the well i screamed my lungs out. I know horrors are so predicatble but i like to see how they all die one by one, lol!!

And my saddest movies of all: Hotel Rwanda and Schindlers List.

Hey 2legs - loved Final Destination too! Also the follow-ups, all flippin' scary. My best was the scene on the roller-coaster - I think it was in movie 3 - where it goes flying, the ultimate nightmare,

Freedom writers..........aaand Transformers 1&2

mmm hm......The prince and Me 1....when she was was leaving the mornachy after they had accepted her for university...and then Prince Edward waited for he...tht was so ridculous...i think i was PMSing....

But i cried legitimately while watching Cry Freedom ages ago...

Yes.yes yes a lot...recently....Mathew Lillard (and his quirkiness)....i watched Without a paddle..and i hunted him down...fav movie with him by far is Wicker park...

hmmmm...way to many favs......
On a lighter note...I love all the bumble bee moments in transformers....

I loved the second one where the guy gets cut in three pieces yikes!!!

And i loved Fireproof they should make more Christian movies like that !!

will be back to reply later.....but i loved Chicago too after i watched it for a very first time i hunted for the CD and made sure that my hunt was a success

I watched My Sister's Keeper....and yoh, you need kleenex next to you when watching that one...lol

What's Love Got To Do With It - Starring Angela Basset
I think ths was the best movie ever with a black female lead. Angella deserved an Oscar for this. Maybe 1993 was too early to give a black actress an Oscar in a leading role. unfortunately Halle Berry had to flash her breasts and fcuk Billy bob Thornton in Mosters Ball for the Academy to notice that black actresses can hold a movie. Sad. The first Best Actress in a leading role Oscar should've gone to Angella

Colour Purple - Starring Whoopi Goldberg & Oprah Winfrey
One of Stephen Spielberg's finest movies. I luv ths movie and it gave Oprah her Oscar and Golden Globe nominations as an actress.

Ghost - Starring Whoopi Goldberg & Demi Moore
Whoopi won her first Oscar for ths movie but I still think she should've won for Color Purple

Dorothy Dandridge - Starring Halle Berry, this is by far the only movie that i think Halle excelled in. Unfortunately it was a made-for-tv movie so it was only nominated for Golden Golden which she right won as Best actress.

Bridges of Madison County - Strarring Meryl Streep & Clint Eastwood, before everybody knew Meryl in Devil Wears Prada she gave ths wonderful performance. Best movies of all time!!

The Prime of Miss Jane Brodie- Starring Maggie Smith, ths movie is a classic, 1969, yet I still love it.

Doubt - Strrng Meryl Streep, wat can I say the woman is a genius. I was nearly in tears esp in the last scene when she says "I have doubts" and bursts out crying... wow

Mrs Brown - Starring Dame Judie Dench, if u saw ths movie u would understand why i am in awe of ths woman

the rest are:
The Queen (Hellen Mirren, my fav director: Stephen Frears' masterpiesce)
If Only (I still get teary eyes when i see this movie. Nice plot)
Mrs Henderson (Judie Dench at her best)
Ladies in lavender (Maggie Smith & Judie Dench, how can u go wrong with tht)
Tea with Moussolini
Babel (the movie tht beat Dreamgirls for an Oscar, watch it u will see y. Its clever and Cate Blanchet & Brad Pitt give awesome perfomances)
Vera Drake (A touching storyline and well acted by Emilda Staunton)
Cold Mountain ( Renne Zellwegger's best performance)
Chicago ( Its fun to watch)
The Hours ( the only movie I think Nicole Kidman deserved an Oscar for )

I mainly watch movies with my fav actors. Most of Peter O'Tolle's movies arent great in my opinion but he is a great actor so I would watch it.

Oh yeah, while watching Amistad, any black person watching tht movie would be touched. I wasnt wailing but I was moved emotionally.

I accidentally shed a tear while watching If Only with some frnds. It's a simple, sweet yet touching love story. Im a sucker for LOVE. Have to say tthat was not my most "manly" hour :)

i dnt fall in luv with actors i fall in luv with their work. I watch almost every movie that Renee Zellwegger, Peter O'Toole, Meryl Streep, Judie Dench, Maggie Smith & Terence Howard are in. I also watch movies bcoz of directors, like Stephen Frears, Coen Brothers, Mike Leigh, Antoine Fuqua are a must see for me

Djimoun Hounson's scene on the boat in chain in Amistad
meryl Streep in Doubt, last scene of the movie
Jennifer Love Hewitt, the scene where she sings Take My Heart Back, in If Only

The best though has to be the scene in Whats love got to do with it, Angella Basset playing Tinah Turner. In ths scene Ike has just hit Tina and she's had enough so he runs out of the hotel and walk to the nearest motel. She gets to counter in a motel all bruised nd bloody. She asks for a room and the guy looks at her all perplexed. She looks at him, takes of her wedding ring and offers it to her

then she says something like "I am Tina Turner. You may not know who I am. I have no money on me and I need a room for the night. I promise, tomorrow you will get yr money back"

in tht moment u forget you are watching a movie!! Brilliant!

Talking about movies i was channel hoping Yesterday when i saw this James Bond movie being advertised ..
He wanted to cross a river and it was crocodile infested ..the next minute he was jumping from one croc to the other till he crossed Kwakwakwakwa .... it was classic i just laughed my lungs out !!!

I remember Living Single, back in the day comedy used to make us laugh..after watching con Air i fell in love with Nicolas Cage and have watched this movie over and over again. My favourite movies are the ones that have terrorism as its main theme. I loved Chicago, High School Musical still mad about HSM 1, Hair Spray, Zac Efron is so cute there. My favoutie all time musical is Dream Girls, that's where you see that Beyonce is overated and Jennifor Hudson underated.
