they noticed they have unique talent and went out there to make themselves into households names, despite the odds.
well, mention the name Sensezi to any person residing in Tshwane and he is sure to know who are talking to.
well, Senzeni is one of the main characters of Craze Entertaiment.
this is a group of young men that realised thier acting talent and starting shooting sketch like dramas that got Tshwane residents glued to thier screens.
the location is set in one of the informal settlements of Soshanguve(this is where most of the cast hail from)
and revolves around a young lad by the name of Senzeni who stays with is ailing, destitute, and widowed father.
the two often argue about the ins and outs of thier poor life and Senzeni is putting his foot down and decides to go to Joburg for a better life.
the humour in the drama is unbelielavble and if you are not from Tshwane you might not get some of the jokes but i suggest you give it a short.
Pastor A tries to intervene and pray for unity in the family but as it turns out he is not as holy as he makes out as "he misses Mrs Modiri delicoius cake"- mrs Modiri being Senzeni's mother.
i wish i could write down the jokes that gets thrown in but i really cant translate jokes, but there is a line that Senzeni likes throwing saying-ke tla go roga se Metro police- and then he imititates the traffic officers syrine(sp).
see, you wont be able to laugh now but grab yourself a copy and you wont regret-the dvd's are avalible in most music stores around Tshwane.
p.s - my thinking is these guys are really talented with dedication, a little bit of training by profesionals and exposure they can really go far.
