Sundown scored 28 goals the past season 17 less form Supersport - is the coach saying that sundowns stricker r good? Sundowns also conceded 28 goals( I know it's less that Chiefs's tally) but really now? Picking 2 defenders from Sundowns is not acceptable, Pirates conceded the least number of goals......this squad I depressing me....

It wasn't only Brian Baloyi who was at goals for Sundowns last season and Khune wasn't at goals when Chiefs conceded 4 goals against Golden Arrows. Leave Khune alone....he is the number 1 goalkeeper for the country whether you like it or not. You've got to learn to live with it.

Brian Baloyi has never done well for Bafana Bafana in the past. I guess uvele angcangcazele....anyway he's gonna be a ball boy during da Confederations.

Am listening to Discovery Sports Centre and Pitso Mosimane is going on about how sad he is that Nasief Morris had to go and that it still hasn't sunk in with him. Nasief was the first player HE called when he was head coach etc etc.

Sounds to me like Pitso is shifting the "leaving out Nasief" blame to Santana and he's not happy with that decision.

Since no explanation was forthcoming and the nation deserves to know why Bafana Bafana will not be represented at full strength because of Morris’s exclusion, the Siya crew tracked down the defender’s Prosport International agent, Mike Makaab, to shed some light on events.

“At a meeting held with Morris yesterday, in the presence of Aaron Mokoena, Pitso Mosimane and Jairo Leal, the coach asked Morris how he would react if he was left out of the starting line-up for the first match. Would he be unhappy? To which Morris replied that he could not answer that question at the time.”

“Name me one serious player anywhere in the world that would be happy to be left out of a starting line-up. This question in itself creates doubt in a player’s mind as to the coach’s feelings toward him.”

“At a meeting later in the evening, the coach told Morris that his answer had been unconvincing and that he had decided to eliminate him from the national team for the Confederations Cup,” said Makaab.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Morris, after getting permission from Gugu Marawa who is in charge of travel arrangements, changed his flight to go directly to Cape Town where he spent five hours with his infant child. He then arrived in Johannesburg an hour earlier than if he had arrived on the SAFA booked flight, which enabled him to make the morning training session as well as the afternoon session.

Santana allegedly told Morris that he was unhappy about the player’s decision to go to Cape Town first, irrespective of his early arrival. The coach is also apparently unhappy about Morris’s media interviews of late, in which he has spoken about his feelings in regards to selection.

“It is true that Morris has been unhappy in the past with the way he has been treated. An example is when his team was due to play Barcelona and Real Madrid within a week. He was called up to the national squad for a midweek game (Nelson Mandela Challenge) and left on the bench. With respect to Madiba, why not just leave him in Spain to focus on two important games?” concluded Makaab.

Tshepo Bulu, Gerald Sibeko, Josta Dladla, George Lebese, Gregoy Mabena, Sphiwe Tshabalala (if you look at the right angle), Jimmy Tau (if you don't look too long) and I'm sure there's someone out there who will add Oni Bhasera to the list.

Even with 11 of my sick and scary presidents on the pitch as Super Eagles and 7 sick and scary substitutes on the Nigerian bench against Bafana - Bafana (boy-boy), your guys will still pee in their pants on the pitch. Your guys have never scored a single goal against the Eagles in about 6 outings, while we have put more than 12 goals past them. They can't seem to stop shivering when playing against the GREAT SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA. The sweetest bit is beating you in your own backyard. Anyway this a digression. Let us concentrate on the Confederation's cup!!!. I just wanted to pull your legs, shake you up a bit and perhaps annoy and get on your nerves since i now know you are interested in football. Went to Orlando Stadium to watch the game and it was crazy. We got lost trying to find the Presidential Suite, the security personnel didn't know how we could access it...kanti is the security not supposed to know the stadium's layout? I was too tired of walking around the stadium looking for an entrance, I told my friend we should just watch the game in the extra strong and he looked at me like I was crazy...tjo, some people are too spoilt! lol. Mina I just wanted to watch the game, I didn't care from where....

Anyway, we finally got there and what I loved about it, unlike other stadia "hospitality suites", it's not UP there, you get a very good view of the pitch and the players, it's like watching from the grand stand, it's very close to the field, I loved it.

What I didn't love though is how DULL and GREY Orlando Stadium is. They really need to do something with it because we were talking about how "old" it looks, even though it has just been revamped.
Granted, for a "training" pitch it looks good but there is NO colour there at all. The building is grey and the seats are blue, there is no hectic signage around and in my opinion, branding/signage/colour etc make up a stadium & add to the excitement and yeah, there is still a lot of work or rather, finishing touches that need to be added to complete the place.

From the little that I saw ( I think I only saw a total of 45 minutes), it was a quiet game with few "eish" here and I didn't even notice that Mbazo was there. Did he even touch the ball? I thought Booth & Gaxa did very well and I'm glad that:
- Teko was rested : we can't rely too much on one man.
- Bafana Bafana won : it will help boost their confidence going into the tournament.

I wasn't happy with:
Mickey Modisane from Orlando Pirates being the MC.
As it is, we have a LOT of Pirates players in the squad, why is the Pirates PRO being used to MC for Bafana Bafana games? Why can't we use a neutral person?
As it is, the guy LOVES the sound of his voice so imagine giving him a microphone ko stadium. He was going on and on after the game, instead of just letting the DJ play music.

Anyway...'good luck to Bafana for next week. I'm fully behind them.

Why?
I certainly won't have a problem with Mbesuma going to Chiefs. I don't necessarily agree that he's worn out. I mean, everybody goes through a rough patch. Maybe he just had a bad year and will bounce back, it's happened before with other players. Besides, Sundowns is not famous for bringing out the best in any one, they are more notorious for messing up careers than anything.

Rowan, I don't think it would be a good idea to have the country's no 1 & 2 goalkeepers in one club. If Rowen goes back to Chiefs, he must just kiss his Bafana career goodbye coz he's gonna play second fiddle to Khune all the time.
He must go to Sundowns kick Brian's butt or replace Andre at Supersport. He must also be realistic and stop asking for a lot of money if he really wants to come back home.
Armenia Bielefeld has frustrated the living hell out of our players, first Nkosi and now Fernandez.

BS, Many players had their best years at Sundowns(Chirwali, Feutmba,Legodi, Sapula, etc), the problem with the current lazy ass players is that all they are interested in is Motsepe's $$$$.
