American Idol Finale

The end is here! So after weeks of watching great performers (Allison, you so belong in that top 2 with Adam) and not so great performers (Scott was really boring and I am not even going to mention the bottom 2 of the Top 14), we are treated one last time with the "talent" that remained. So who will be the final two? Surely Adam and someone else?? Kris has been gaining a lot of momentum throughout the latter stage of the top 10. Some bloggers are flabbergasted that he is still around....

The themes this year were slightly on the terrible side (like last week's rat pack, I was seriously bored!!) with a few exceptions (I think we all agree that Michael Jackson night was actually the best!!) Shout out to Jamie Foxx for being a great teacher!!

The top 3 is where contestants get to go to their hometown, that is apparently some kind of achievement. The judges selected 1 song and the contestants
chose the other (only 2 songs, really?? Prepare yourself for lots of fillers!!)

Top 3

Danny: 1)Terence Trent D'Arby's - Dance Little Sister chosen by Paula...enough said (by the way did you guys see Paula's "autotune" performance last week? She at least still got the dance moves...
2)Joe Cocker's  - You Are So Beautiful

Kris: 1) OneRepublic's "Apologize selected by Randy and Kara (these 2 can be so unoriginal)
2)Kanye West's - Heartless, this guy wants to win. Surely he "sings" better than Kanye??

Adam: 1) U2's - One, nice song choice Simon!!!
2)Aerosmith's  - Cryin

Interesting how Paula and Simon get to choose on their own but Randy and Kara have to choose together......

Jordin Sparks is premiering her new song on the results show, a song I like and think it's a good direction for her.

I guess the contestants will be singing their favourite of the season and maybe the judges' favourite??Hopefully the "single" will be better than last year and perform better than last year. After all, even though David Cook was a great contestant, he delivered a so-so album. Nowhere close to Daughtry (a performer last week)! Apparently eith Urban is performer on the LIVE results show **sigh**.

Krissy, maybe in other people's opinions he deserves to be there? This is the joy with programmes like these, we are aloud to be subjective. In Danny's case there have been people who luv his voice enough for him to have never made the bottom three. Yours trully is one of them. I also am nuts about Adam and Allison and was sorry to see her leave. Here's to ADAM and the title!! I wish the top three luck in their careers though and want to include Lil and Allison in that lot, luved them to bits.

Danny is a great singer, he has got a unique voice.  Kris does not belong in the Top 3.  Adam is something else.

Doubtful, The single is always complete tosh, no matter who sings it. I hear this year's winning song was penned by Kara, so we know who to blame when it turns out to be embarrassing dreck.

I would buy Adam's album,...  Black and White, Mad World and Track of Tears,.. absolute brilliance,...  but then I have never been fan of the Celine Carey, Mariah Houston crowd,... 

So I have never been able to understand the whoo ha about Jody and kie! 

As for Ken,...  Justin Timberlake vs Daughtry,... and my choice would be so obvious!
