Final Comments
So, did the best team win?  The answer to that would have to be no.

Initially the best team were Rob & Amber, who won the first three legs before being eliminated.  Following their departure, Dustin & Kandice and Oswald & Danny were the two best teams, although neither one was clearly better than the other.

Eric & Danielle were the only team out of the final five to not have won a leg (apart from the final one), although they did come second twice times.  In comparison, Charla & Mirna won two legs and finished second twice, while Dustin & Kandice won four legs and finished second three times (including the final leg).

It's a damn shame.

But Eric and Jeremy were perhaps statistically the best team ever based on their S9 performance, so maybe Eric kinda sorta deserves it.

Yeah, Eric & Jeremy were definitely one of the best-performing teams to have taken part, so you can make an argument for Eric deserving it.  Not so much for Danielle though.
