How do you spend your money

Written by Molilo from the blog Mofire on 03 Apr 2009

Hope this will brighten the site, I am kinda bored

In life we appreciate different things, being it expensive bags, cars, clothes, furniture, food, shoes, perfume, etc?

I for one know I would not pay R3000+ for a pair of shoes no matter what; even R1000 will be too difficult for me to part with for shoes.

So tell me:

What it is that as a person you would not mind spending fortune for?

I for one do not mind spending my money on expensive furniture, can’t wait to have my place

And what is it that you will mind parting ways with?

Clothes, used to back in the days but I cant anymore

Molilo
03 Apr 2009 11:00

If u want to save open a fixed account, every month on ur pay day they debit into the acc.
The nice part about it u will not be able to take out the money till the date you told them when should they stop deductingmaybe a year or 2 depending on u.
Unlike the 32 days coz with that one u will be tempted.

It has been long since I logged on to this site. Well I spent my money on food and food.

Rule 1 never buy shoes that cost more than R300,00 period
You can get undies very cheap from Playtex or Truiph factory shops
Polo factory shop is there for a reason, \
Brands are expensive, If I am ugly I will remain ugly no matter what brands or how expensive i dress, So why spend money at all

ms.tebby
03 Apr 2009 12:07

Nothing beats buying furniture on lay-bye as its very expensive, most major furniture shops do have that option they just don't advertise it cos they wanna chow ur money instantly, try Coricraft for good quality.

03 Apr 2009 12:42

Molilo it depends on the price of the item u are buying, if u buying couches for r5000 and u got R1000 to spare every month then u can pay over 5months, or better yet u could try the 3months interest free payment at shops like House & Home, if u settle ur installments in 3months then the interest gets reversed, u settle based on the cash price with no higher purchase extras. Thats how i've bought my big stuff pay over 3months with no interest at all.

zozoe
03 Apr 2009 12:43

@ms.Tebby,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i think you forgot 10% of Tithe

i assure you people first thing pay tithe and you will be able to do your stuff and pleeze run away from Dikoloto izikweleti debts otherwise you are working for those sales shop

ms.tebby
03 Apr 2009 12:53

zozoe....I am coming for the house warming like it or not!...im holding you to that, LOL
