I am more spiritual than religious and I often wonder how (if ever the time comes) me and my future husband will deal with uniting in marriage and how our children will be raised. One's faith and religion is important enough in any relationship and union you go into but just how tolerant are people when it comes to religious tolerance?
I believe anyone and everyone has a right to practice whatever religion works for their mind, body and soul. At the risk of contradicting myself I am saddened when I hear things about Satanism. A friend of myne was telling me that on Saturday she went to a funeral of a 14yr old girl who died as a result of following her Satanistic beliefs. The girl apparently refused to kill in the name of their higher power so she was instructed to not eat or drink anything and this eventually led to her death. I don't know much about this belief but I've heard they normally "target" 2 types of people - those whose faith is very strong (don't know how they think they can overturn someone like that) and those whose faith has been weakened eg someone who's been through so much they start questioning God's love. All this made me want to delve into this world and find out more about it.

Above is something I found on a website called angelfire.com. Hhe I didn't even know these people had a book about Satan (note I specifically tried to not make reference to the Holy Book)
I must warn you that while doing this research and going into these different websites and reading about all of this I found myself almost a bit hypnotised and had to catch myself a few times. Be warned!

Contrary to Satanism being labeled as "darkness," Satan appears wearing a long white robe identical to what he is shown wearing in the images below. Many of us see him often and have a very close relationship with him. He is beautiful. His appearance is almost exactly like in the pictures, other than he rarely appears with wings.

The website goes on into different types of Satanism which I found no interest in. Satanism is Satanism period! I lost interest especially when I read a line about how the character of Jesus is fictitious and was stolen from somewhere blah blah blah...I'm not much of a believer in the Bible but statements like this made it harder to continue reading...
I'd like to know from you guys what you understand of Satanism and what have you heard or seen about this whole Satanism business. Like I said I don't normally judge nor question other people's beliefs but I do feel those that have been drawn into this world do need help.
