Lunch, Dinner or Midnight Snack With Thomas?

April Fool's day is around the corner and as always, there are changes coming on radio!

Mmh.....as far as Metro FM (aka Spaza Shop) is concerned, here is what we've "read" & "heard" so far:

- Kenny Maistry is making a return to the station, time slot not confirmed yet.
- Breakfast With Thomas is no more
- Eddie Zondi is no more (wth???)
- Penny might get a co-host or go

Unconfirmed Rumours:
- Thomas might be going to Kaya FM to host 12-3
- Thomas was offered to co-host with Penny on 12-3 (lol)

Speculation, Speculation, speculation. That's all we can do coz the official new line up will only be announced on 26th March but I can't wait till then and I know someone out there knows the real deal so if you do, please sign up and give us answers, no one needs to know you told us lol....usernames are anonymous! lol.

So, is Kenny Maistry taking over breakfast or will he be hosting the drive time show, while Glen moves back to breakfast?

- Why is Thomas even leaving, to begin with?

- Is he really going to Kaya FM ?

- If he's going to Kaya, will he go there to sink their breakfast even further or is he going to do the 12:00 - 15:00 slot?

- If he's going to do the latter, ain't that a step back?

- If he's going to Kaya, will Unathi follow him there?
Personally, I"m not a fan of Unathi's "union" with Glen, so I wouldn't mind if she could be given a weekend show or co-host with Penny or Aza...I don't get to listen to those shows anyway so it wouldn't matter.
Glen will still need to have a sidekick though...not sure ubani!

- If Thomas is leaving Metro, what happens to BBK & Lupi?

Whatever happens and whereever Thomas goes, I hope he will read my letter again before he starts his "new" show.

As for Eddie Zondi, hawu bantu...I thought the Sunday shows were popular nje, why is Eddie leaving? Did he have a fight with Mr. Mogotsi? LOL

Thomas and that lets save the world crew of his, should jst get new jobs as charity fundraising co- ordinators nd get a sponsorship deal from toughees.they are a boring conservative bunch they deserve to be canned,u'll keep on waiting 4 them 2 say sumting cunning or funny or edgey be obnoxious 4 cryn out loud!! Thomas's day job shud be take notes from gareth cliff,even fresh is hammerin dat glen lewis duo. Nd dat eddie show is depressing ,i avoid dat by all means. I nearly forgot its that time of the year! Hhayi BWT has run its course and it's time up! As for who will replace him....all the more reason to continue listening to Gareth! As for the Glen n Unathi duo, I agree with u there! Thomas @ Kaya fm...lol!

Eddie Zondi is leaving...Yipeeee!!! Eddie has a great music compiler, Im not sure if it he's a good DJ, and calling Mariah Carey Maria Curry - hehehehe I will miss those kind of Eddie Zondi moment..

Any word on Wilson B?? Sigh... he should join SA FM - I know he has a fan base - but I think Bambo can handle his slot very well. I enjoy Bambo if I wake up very early in the morning :-)

Tee is leaving Metro? Wow..He's not even going to try the DRIVE TIME slot? Im not sure how im taking those news. But I know Breakfast with Thomas just became another show, if I missed I wouldnt feel bad - kuyafana nje. That KIDS THROW DOWN maaann - maybe I didnt see the point of it coz im not a parent, but haai shame it was boring - thats when I switched to another radio station.

Another rumour is Sammy T doing a metro come back! Sammy Sammy Sammy Sammy T!! Sizwe Dlomo joining YFM - it made alot of young girls I was with yesterday veerrryyyyyyy happy - Gosh that boy has groupies!

excuse me?????? Thomas is no LONGER radio material and if he persists then a MIDNIGHT slot would be ideal for him.

Kenny Maistry...... he's not doing MUCH for Highveld so i dont know why Matona's so excited about MAFUTHA JAM's return.

I hope Metro snaps up Chilli M.....he's out of a job and although i still think he's a PERVERT, there's no one that can hold a show down like Chilli.

As for YFM, can they please SPLIT the TWINS?????????? Yoh, a double dose of their voices is enough to make one NAAAR!

Otherwise, i'm not too concerned with radio changes as long as Gareth still does the Breakfast show!

Otherwise, while I think it's good news, it makes no difference to me since I'm a Garethner(Gareth listener). But each time I'd get a peak at BWT, i hated everything about it.

As for Glen and Unathi...hai no, I do suspect that Glen doesn't like her much, that can't be just for show. Sometimes I cringe at the things Glen says to her, or the way he addresses her. But as long as we don't have to hear about Sinakho anymore, I'm happy!

Badboy T thought he had to change from young Y to more mature Metro. He even changed his name to just THOMAS - he should have just stayed with Tee! coz Thomas nje haai, yawn.

Even his classic feel goods are music our parents used to listen to. We know he loves hiphop - there are nice hiphop classics that we would enjoy you know. He tried to hard to act like he's all grown, well I also miss BAD BOY T! He really lost himself and in the process lost his fans.

5 is def a pop music station and the most diversified..I must say that music is what turns me off at the other stations, so I don't even get to experience those DJ's...like Nigel Pearce is very good (on GHFM, for non ct peeps), but the music SUCKS!!!
