Too tired and basically PO from a droning year I broke my show virginity and watched "Live" (26/12/2008) and "Late night with Kgomotso"(27/12/2008). I found both shows needing me to watch at least four more episodes to see if I am their target audience.
I really like Kgomotso’ writing so I wanted to experience her more. She had Leeann Manas, Tracy Rose, David Kibuka, David Kau and Camagwine(sp) as guests. I liked the live band, Kgomotso' interview style - very casual, the questions flowed nicely and easily. What I got from the show was Leeann hates mornings, Tracy plays with her a lot while talking and wore shoes that do not match, David Kibuka has a clone somewhere in Canada and David Kau is expecting a boy (the show may be old … Is that Kau addition here already?)
What I felt needed to be on my 2009 TV wishlist was Kgomotso needs to tone down the hyena (laughter) or move her mic or something. It was kinda so much that I couldn’t feel the essence of the show.
I want someone anywhere who has access to Felicia Mabuza-Suttle to convince her to forgive Phat Joe and lift his ban from SABC! I want the Phat Joe Show back with little brown cow on the show. I’ll even wait up past KK on Wednesday to watch it.
Oh my word!! I put myself through torture on Friday to watch “Live” on SABC1. I didn’t see or feel the whole hype about it. It felt like watching a cheap remake of the Studio Mix days with Melanie Sonn (now Bala), Bob Mabena and DJ Fresh. For me, it had some wanna-be musicians showcasing their laziness to learn to play an instrument, attempt singing, write music or even lyrics so grabbing what they get and hoping suckers or their fans just buy the crapola they spin.
Needless to say,my wish is cut the show and get me a good music show. BUT that is my wish, I know a whole lot of peps that love the show and wont miss it.
Wrestling on e!! please get rid of it or minimize it to once a week after 22:00pm. Does it need to be on daily and sometimes during the day!!!!!?
No wimp brada, Just give us back our biggie, another country big brada or don’t bother!! After 2008 “no brada”, I have no expectations from endemol.
I pray “Idols with instruments” lives up to what it promises – I will wait patiently for Mara not to holler at some point. Anywhoo, save a couple of cameos for previous Idol winners and runner-ups that disappeared after we spent all that money voting for them. Hint! Hint! You can hide Winkler’s invite and say it got lost in the mail.
