The long awaited Telkom Knock-Out final between Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates (ezikamagebhula) is going down this weekend, and what better place to host the final than Durban. Although I’m not “happy” about the actual venue (Chatsworth stadium) it just doesn’t have the capacity to host a game of its magnitude.

This past weekend’s PSL game against the two teams was dubbed the curtain raiser to the final and I must admit, if that’s the kind of football that my team will display on the day, then it’s going to be 9 years since Pirates won a major cup.
It was worrying to see how pirates were reduced to just an average team without Teko “the maestro” Modise.

THE MAESTRO

Tjoe that guy was heaven sent to Mayfair, He epitomizes perfect football. His skill, ball control, ability to read the game and how he can shot from long range.

Even the man of the moment Dikgang Mabalane was just nje….

TERMINATOR

I still don’t understand how Chiefs let Mabhuti Kha/Khe nyeza go coz the brother is a killer striker. This weekend it won’t only be him up-front, but he will be partnering up with Sifiso Vilakazi and if you watched the semi-final game between Ajax and Free State Stars then you can understand my concern.

As much as i like Pirates and their players, am still an Urban warrior(AJAX )baby. Those boys will show the bigboyz how it's done,they did it before and they'll do it again.

Yes it does feel like its PIRATES's first Cup final, as someone rightly pointed that the last time Pirates won a Cup was when the first price was still R800K.
