On Sunday night 25-year old Zambian rapper Takwondwa Nkonjera was the sixth housemate to be whacked from BBAfrica3 house.
Up for nomination for a fifth time, he lost out to Ricco by 11 country's to two: his home country Zambia; and Uganda - who took his side for no reason.
Here's what he had to say when I caught up with him to drill
our answers:
Tashi: Why do you think you were voted out?
TK: I think most likely it's because I was up against Ricco who's a very strong competitor and character in the game and probably viewers didn't like what they saw of me in the last week - I think those are the main reasons.
Tashi: When you asked everyone to vote Tawana out and they voted Shiela instead - surely you realised at that point that you were doomed?
TK: No I just thought that they had their own reasons, I didn't know it was because of me.
Tashi: Was Sheila leaving what made you zone out of the game?
TK: No, not that, it's just that a lot of the time the topics being spoken about didn't interest me - that's why I avoided a lot of the conversations. I find solace in my own company.
Tashi: Some of the ones you weren't involved in were controversial, like the date rape conversation - is that why you didn't get involved them?
TK: I don't remember that conversation, I guess I would have if I was there - getting involved in those types of conversations, I don't feel like it's going to do much, it's a waste of time, I'd rather do something practical.
Tashi: Why'd do you think the housemates nominated you week after week?
TK: I think they probably started after the week I became head of house the first time - I think from there was anomosity from there and that grew and they probably started to dislike me.
Tashi: Why did you enter the show?
TK: For the money.
Tashi: The jersey in combo with talking about how much you need the money - was your strategy for the game: "Poor me, I need the money."
TK: My strategy was to just be myself and to go with the flow.
Tashi: If you'd won, what would you have done with the money?
TK: Quite a few things - I was planning to buy a few cars and get into the taxi business back home. I was also planning to buy some equipment to set up my own studio. I was also going to buy some video cameras since I've also started my own production company - I want better quality of camera so I can shoot movies and adverts and music videos and whatever else comes my way.

I also would have set up a nursery with my mom and I want to set up a shop to sell leather goods, which I was planning to get from India. I also wanted to do a tour round Africa with Ricco - we talked about this before I was evicted - a tour to promote our music. I think we'll probably still do that - we'll see in the future.
Tashi: Your album - what's the title of it?
TK: It's actually my second album - the title's ONE - which stands for Other Niggaz Envy. The first one was called Gynko (A Taste Of Unsigned Greatness) Gynko in vernacular means "A snippet, a taste, a sample."
Tashi: Sheila - did you pursue a relationship with her to take away her power as an independent player?
TK: No I told myself before I went into the house because I am in a committed relationship -
Tashi: What?? So you're like all the guys from last season?
TK: No it wasn't like that, it wasn't a planned thing. When me and Sheila started out talking we just got close and the closer we got my feelings developed so it wasn't a planned move to take her out but it just developed and I went with the flow.
Tashi: So how's your better half responded to it all - not only Sheila but the whole thing with Tawana as well?
TK: I haven't spoken to her yet - I'm going to when I get back and I'll let you know.
Tashi: When you were in the house didn't you think about how she'd be cracking?
TK: I've been told she even had to change her number because lots of people called her to tell her what I was doing in the house. At the same time she knows me and I'm pretty sure we'll work it out.
Tashi: So you do this a lot then.
TK: No I don't, she knows me so I'm pretty sure she'll understand.
Tashi: The whole girl-on-girl, lesbo thing with Sheila - is that what attracted you to her?
TK: No it's not that at all - it was the more we talked. At the beginning we were able to confide in each other so we talked and also being locked up together, it does bring out a lot of emotions and I felt she was someone I could confide in so I became closer and closer to her and that's how my feelings developed.
Tashi: Are you in love with her?
TK: No.
Tashi: But you wrote her that love letter and stuff.
TK: Ja, I did but ...
Tashi: That was just an act?
TK: No - I thought I was in love with her but at this point I'm not sure anymore so I'm going to say no.
Tashi: What are you gonna do with the sarong she gave you?
TK: I'm gonna keep it as a reminder of what we had in the house.
Tashi: Wrap it around your girlfriend. (
for some reason I got hysterical at this point and couldn't stop laughing)
TK: No, I don't think she'd like that.
Tashi: What's up with being so ungrateful to Tawana for the BJ?
TK: The thing is, no offense to Tawana, she's attractive, beautiful and intelligent but she doesn't do it for me.
Tashi: But she did on the night.
TK: Well you see when it came to the BJ it wasn't really a thing about "I want to," it was more she suggested it and I just wanted to see if she was really going to do it. Also we were in the house, feeling a bit crazy - and when we got there I couldn't back down.
Tashi: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, *
yawn.laugh* What did you feel and think when she was fakely evicted and then came back?
TK: I felt cheated by Big Brother because she was allowed to see most of my conversations while she was in the penthouse and I did have one or two about the blow job incident so I felt it was a bit unfair.
Tashi: What year was your jersey purchased in? Was it inherited from a deceased special someone?
TK: *
laughs* No, the jersey was my moms.
Tashi: Your hot mom - you know everyone's been saying she looks so young.
TK: I'm sure she'll be chuffed where she is.
Tashi: So she used to wear that jersey.
TK: Ja she did, when I was going I didn't really have time to do any shopping so I got that jersey and another one and those are the ones I went with.
Tashi: Who looks the best in the shower up close?
TK: I have to say Lucille but she was always in a bikini, Sheila also looked pretty good but she was also always in a bikini so I'll have to give it to Tawana - she did look pretty hot naked.
Tashi: What's been the hardest revelation since you've been out?
TK: That I didn't win.
Tashi: Anything else?
TK: Well I found out that there were some things not shown that did happen so that's a bit dishreatening but I suppose Big Brother does have the right to change the game at any point so I'm moving on.
Tashi: Like what?
TK: Well, I don't know if I should be saying all of this. There were certain things that happened I promise I'll reveal once everyone's out because I don't want to jeopardise anyones chances.
Tashi: Oh no, I don't think you will. Ricco's gonna win hands down so whatever you say won't make an impact. You can give us a titbit.
TK: Okay did you guys see how we kept teasing Uti and Morris about being lovers?
Tashi: Yes, there's been lots of teasing of Morris especially. So where they lovers?
TK: No.
Tashi: Oh - so what's the juice in that?
TK: Nothing, just that there were one or two arguments that went on in the house.
Tashi: What's your beef with Thami? It can't only be that he threw the cigarettes and meat over wall surely?
TK: Also his attitude when he first came into the house - I didn't really like it, especially when he got drunk. There was also a time when he was drunk again when he went on and on about buying chocholate and potato chips instead of wine and that got on my nerves.
Tashi: What was the best part of the game?
TK: I'd have to say getting to meet the housemates, especially Sheila.
Tashi: And the worst?
TK: Getting evicted and nominated five times in a row. Dealing with the people was easy but even when you were by yourself you could still feel the cameras were there so you were never really by yourself.
Tashi: After you got evicted you were very supportive of Ricco - you obviously want him to win.
TK: Yes, I would, I'll vote for him and I also think he's a really strong character - I think he's going to win.
Tashi: If you weren't you but rather a viewer - who would you have voted out: TK or Ricco?
TK: I think I probably would have voted out Ricco, if I was me watching - you see all sorts of things happen in the house that probably viewers don't see - I think I'd have voted out Ricco. I'd have looked at it and thought "I want to give Takondwa the money, he's my type of guy."
Tashi: Who do you NOT want to win?
TK: I wouldn't want to say anybody because I feel they've made it further than me so they probably deserve to be there more than I do.
Tashi: If you look back on everyone who's been voted out so far, is there anyone - besides Sheila - you think should still be there?
TK: I think Lucille should have stayed until now. I was really confused when she got evicted. I still don't know why - do you know?
Tashi: It was the whole thing with Munya and leading him on and her whole romance-but-not thing - everyone was annoyed by her.
TK: Oh, okay.
Tashi: Who'll you keep in touch with after the show?
TK: I hope to keep in touch with most of them.
Tashi: It depends on how many your girlfriend allows you too of course.
TK: Actually I don't need permission to keep in touch with people.
Tashi: How's the show changed you?
TK: It's given me new perspectives, especially after Poverty Week, that touched a nerve for me, it's made me feel I can do more to help country's.
Tashi: Will you be watching now?
TK: Ja every time I get a chance. It feels, not really strange, I feel I'd love to be able to be outside and see myself while I was in and see how I looked. It looks different on TV to how it feels when you're there. On TV it feels like it's a set but when you're there it feels like home.
