This is THE SWITCH...and am your Host ;-) September marks a beginning of great things indeed, its spring time and the month when the planet starts smiling again from nature. Last night on this beautiful month saw the return of one of the best Drama's to come out of South African filming and television industry. I had waited for months after finding out its making a comeback and finally September 09th is when Tshisa came back to embrace our screens.
I should congratulate the shows script writters and directors on an awesome Season 1 and now with the very first episode having played last night there comes another reason to stay glued to the screen at 08:30. The show is a big lesson to the Youth about Life and pure entertainment.
As per last years episode Bafana was shot after a night of partying at a night club in Soweto where his video was being screened for the first time on TV. The cause been that his best friend Bakstina had stolen dope from one of the notorious dealers and he wanted payback.
Focusing around Bafana fame got into his tiny head when he landed a presenting job on TV and also released a new song collaborating with Bakstina. The song was produced by the one and only Deejay Sbu so the boy got himself into drugs thinking he is cool. Drugs and fame cost him his long time beautiful girlfriend (Precious), his own brother Bheki and his parents are just not impressed.
He had almost missed his gals matric dance and Bheki offered to take her to the once in a lifetime event which led to them spending almost all night together and hormones doing what they do best functioning at a high level.

Bheki and Precious fell head over heels with each other and after learning that Bafana shagged with Precious best friend Lindi like rabbits, the beautiful Precious didnt think twice of falling for the brother....I guess its guys of the same genes and that was bound to happen.
In real life I have been involved in a situation where you end up dating blood sisters and on 2 consecutive occasions it has happened....the funny part being only the later relationships last. Back to Bafana he apparently has now impregnated Lindi who BTW was Bakstina's shagmate all because she wanted a matric dance dress which Bakstena didnt even buy but stole it from Rosebank Mall.....yah neh things that the youth do to impress are really ugly at times...

Bafana is shot and gets taken to the Hospital, Bakstena gets involved in an argument with the then shag mate Lindi about why they had to leave the scene of the shooting (imagine what kind of a friend is that?) all because he had dope with him and is scared of them lazy ass in the blue overalls called Cops..after they both ingage in an orgy of sniffing coke to calm down next its off to the Hospital where Bafana is....
Some desperate for cash nurse informs a tabloid newspaper that a celebrity is been shot and the journo's hit the hospital to have their major story mxxxnm. Now the thing about choosing your friends comes when people like Bakstina do an interview when one of their own is lying inside and might actually loose their life.
Another desperate wannabe and co-presenter with Bafana called Ayanda is having an interview of how she can do well if Tshisa was given to her while on her way to the Hospital....So much of a desperate Diva wannabe well there are a few to name in the industry here in SA.
As Bafana is in the Hospital and after hearing the bad news Precious tells Bheki that what they doing is wrong and might be the cause of Bafana's ordeal.eish yazi this chicks who stay with their gogos are full of superstitions. Poor Tshisa producer Vinolia's man is doing the Harambe route and shagging another man, worst part being a journalist.......
The poor dude hasn't even had a shag ;-) Bakstina escapes the cops that came looking for him at his shack,calls Lindi for his coke which they unfortunately left on a chair at a hospital what will he do once he finds out that Lindi doesn't have it? Will Lindy pregnant and Bafana in Hospital whats going to happen to her future and her baby's dad.? It all unfolds in the next episode of Tshisa every Tuesday on SABC 108:30 or keep it locked to THE SWITCH....
