The devil made me do it,or did he?

Can we blame the krugersdorp killings on the devil or the individual kid? Surely If people are willing to kill for Zuma , can't they kill for the devil too?
I guess by now everyone has heard about the terrible news that happened in Krugersdorp. The boy with the Samurai sword, killing one student , injurying the garden staff and some other students. He's "murderous rage' is being blamed on the music he listened to and apperantly being a "satan worshiper". How true is this ,we will only truely know during the court trial cause our police when the see rock music, drugs and painted faces they automaically think "satan worship".

My thoughts are with the families involved in this ordeal. It seems being one of the help in schools is not a great thing any more .Early this year it was the UFS fiasco now the poor groundsmen are targets of yet more student rage. But what interest me the most is the idea of the Devil forcing people to do such things. For me i think that is the biggest cop out since Eve blamed the snake and then Adam blaming Eve for their own guilty actions. Hansie used the same scapegoat excuse it seemed to have worked for him.

But do you guys actually think such things as taking a sword and wearing a ninja outfit and killing and shooting people can be blamed on the devil.Clearly the guys were not running around as if they were possesd by anything. Could it be the guys just wanted to know how it feels to kill? Or is the music to be blamed?Or was the drugs laying with his mind?

I grew , and so does a lot of black youths, watching alot of violent movies and listening to gangster rap but how come you don't see us going around our schools with guns shooting everyone in sight.Bt then we go around calling our ladies ho's and all.
Anyhow ,How do we explain such behaviour? Is it the devil making these kids to all these things?Or is it the individual?

Eish was just reading abou tthis on news 24, completely hectic stuff.

All I know is that someone in their right mind would not have done what that boy did, it's just not human. Perhaps to say it was the devil might be extreme, but something really is not right in his head. And now to have to live with tha! Oh goodness!

This is so sad, I actually feel sorry for the child who has to live with the consequences of his actions.

This kid did something really terrible and i cannot feel sorry for him at all. he must now face the consequences because the law will deal with him yena he must take it up with his devil. A PERSON in matric surely knows right from wrong and putting the blame on the devil is just lame.

I do belive that the devil made him do it, even other murderers, the devil takes over their soul and they are not in control of their minds and actions.  Please google Emmanuel Eni, former satanist to understand more about the satanist cult.

Things which are happening to this world are so bad that I think that the world may be coming to an end.....how do u explain a teenager doing that to ppl

I do believe the stories. My brother is a teacher at one of the high schools in Brits, he was telling me about things that are happening there...scary stuff that school kids are doing nowadays. And he was saying that schools are soo much under attack and there's a lot of unreported cases.

So doe this absolute the person of their actions? Was it old lucifers hand on the sword that was doing the slashing?i do understand the idea of influence and possesion.I can buy possesion. But i doubt it if this kid is posessed.

When one is possessed, one does not understand ones actions.  The devil uses your mortal body to perform his deeds.  Demons (not sure all)cannot transform themselves into humans so they need human bodies to live in.

am feeling sorry for the family of the deceased. As for the perpetrator - he needs to be treated as all criminals, as he is one too. HE wanted the "boys' to respect and fear him as it sounds he was bullied at school. He was on drugs and mistaken reality with Hollywood. He needs to be prosecuted. Why do we always have to excuse white kids who are criminals. Look at that one who went on a killing spree last year in a farm - has he been sentenced? And now this, hayi maan..

My concern was the statement made by the killer. When he was brought to the staff room he said "wat nou meneer", (what now sir). This statement is rather perculiar to me, why would he say that to the principal. he makes it sound as if the principal was giving him orders as if to say. "I have done what you said I shoul, what now sir????. The jackal is always in sheep skin, the devil can be very clever in that he uses innocent souls and it takes years and centuires for him to be caught.

I aint speculating that Meneer is involved, also I apologise if what I said might sound hurtful. but at times we should think outa the box, and consider many things before coming to the conclusion. But something is rather perculiar here.

I  do believe its devil work, when the evil spirit  is inside you ,u  may  do bad  thing  without even realising  it. I  have seen A lady who was been possed by evil  spirit, when we pray for her she fights.i mean  she was able to take  4guys  down @ once ,speaking in man voice .So yes when  the  evil spirit is with  u,u are capable ofanything that's bad.

am praying everyday so dat GOD protect us and my kids cos wat this world is turning into is something else... our only way out is prayer and the boring part they r other pastors who r crooks...
in SA as long as u r white u can get away with everything or anything...

Thesh

I'm sorry to say this, but can't we blame the person who does the wrong instead of always blaming races. Yes I agree that the devil is there, but it also depends on an individual to do something, yes we need to pray and pray ernestly cause if we will always blame a race if something bad happen, then we are also possessed by the devil, as it is what he wants, for us to blame one another instead of standing together and fighting him as he is the culprit.

Don't hear me wrong people, but it breaks my heart when I hear people instead of blaming an individual, we tend to put a blame in all other people who did nothing.

Yes there are black people who do wrong, and yes there are white people who do wrong, but should we blame one another's race for what and individual did, I don't think this is a right approach to our problem, and we are playing right into the devil's hands, as this is what he wants.

Sorry for the long essay, this is one of things I have problem listening to.

@Thesh- sweetheart did anyone show signs of racim here, if so I am sorry that happened, but ke calling a white boy, "white" isnt racism its the truth. I would understand if some1 said, "oh he did it coz he is white", then i would cry racism.

the other thing that really got me is the two garden workers(unfortuneatly i dont know their names0 the guys put themselves in harms way to save on of the kids who was attacked.it just goes to show theres still some good in this world and south africans.

@ Tha-bang >>>Surely If people are willing to kill for Zuma , can't they kill for the devil too?<<< somehow this statement doesn't sound right, are you saying the future president(of the Republic) is devilish? tl tl tl tl
B i was being ironic, i did not mean that zuma is devilish. if people are willing to kill for JZ isn't possible that people can also be willing tokill for other individuals,in this case the devil

20 Aug 2008 08:40

i think its my statement that got Thesh confused. I'm not being racist i was just saying when a black boy commits crime, ppl blame poverty or brutality/ acting animal-like but when a white kid is concerned we always have to look deeper for reasons of committing a crime. I dont know how to reword that but that's how i feel. This boy committed a crime fullstop and lets stop making excuses for him or finding 'reasons' for his actions.

This is horrible indeed, it totaly shows that our school are no longer safe. I heard that there are also two girls from Soweto who killed themselves than to be used by the devil.

Mina I have a cousin, he was also hooked in that Satanism thing while he was in STD 9, his parents are born again christians, but he didn't want anything to do with GOD, when we pray, he will pick the knife and point it to his dad. The stories he told us, were scary. He even said he was one of the best man in Michael's Jackson wedding, this keeps you wonder. Now he's lost somewhere in the Cape and he's gay.................................

Not long ago i read from  Sowetan newspaper that one of the teachers at Day Care/Chreche in Dundee forced workers to have sex in front of toddlers and pre-schollars, and it wasn't the first incident to occur and it left me thinking since I have a four year old, whom I respect so much, what if she's also exposed in these things. I don't even kiss in front of her, but the teachers that we trust are letting us down.

Oh! Lord please have Mercy.....................

i think the goverment  must bring death penalty, that means we human beings we are going to respect each other.

Botswana is the best, even at night you can take a nap on the street, you knows for the fact no one will touch you,

Death penalty will solve nothing.
I think teachers and parents should get involved more with their children's interests and if faced with a situation that is beyond their control or knowledge, they should seek help else wher for example psychologists. They are trained.

What happened was sad but I have to agree with Mathaz, the devil disguises himself as light and not some scary 2 horned guy (like wat we have been made to believe by media which he controls by the way) this kid and many others like him think that they are right, the bible says that each man in his own eyes is right but the end of his way is destruction.

Prepare to read - I have alot to say:) sorry guys!

Satan can convince you that wat u r doing is totally OK after all you are doing the world a favor by getting rid of the "problem" = we all see each other as the problem - will go off topic to stress my point, look at wat Hitler did to the Jews and eventually to all people non German?>?> Satan convinced him that they were the cause of Germanys defeat in WW1 and guess what he had to get rid of them and everyone else who didn agree with him>?> THERE IS NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT FRAME OF MIND THAT CAN DO SUCH TERRIBLE THINGS AND STILL SLEEP AT NIGHT!!!! If you stil a piece of candy - ok take one and not pay @ teh counter for it (stil stealing)- it will be on your mind the whole day and even if you try to forget about it - you will be reminded of it at another time and feel guilty. thats y hitler n his die hards popped themselves, they felt the remorse of their actions but feared wat would have happened to them - even his body was silently burnt for fear that they would mock him or put it on trial - yah right!! but if someone preached to him and got him to repent and be saved - Hitler is in heaven right now:)

Satan can give you "power" (ability) to do such terrible acts (to you at the time - its right) but after you've done the deed - he leaves you to face the music alone, thats now when all that "power" has left you and sit ther and think how the hell did I do that or how on earth did my child do that?>?!> He gave Eve the ability to eat the fruit and convince Adam (also under some spell) and then when God came to the garden satan left with his "power" and reasoning Adam and Eve faced God alone!

People who committ some heavy duty crime will often tell you that something came over them - seeing a shrink does nothing for an individual but tell them that its OK, you just discovering yourself and it tells you that society has a problem and not you - they pop in some pills and thats that, you go into a mental institution

We all need JESUS and thats it!!

Once you saved - satan can try to oppress but not posses you coz if you try to do somethin rong conviction sets in and unless you never truelly repented you will always fear and think twice of comitting scandalous deeds, thats y mna I think that some "pastors" can do so many scandalous acts coz they aint saved, they can act holy but deep down inside they aint got JESUS, they can preach up a storm but inside they still unsaved, they can think it but they aint saved!!!

This boy needs JESUS, I know some pple will tel lme its a free country with free choice of religion but this dudes deed and many others like this just prove one thing - life without GOD is dead. When we dying we all going to think of where we going the reality of heaven and hell wil set in whether we choose to believe it or not,

Death penality solves nothing - Jesus died for all those deserving death penailty - justice is done in teh eyes of God he just wants us to admit it and receive Jesus thats it - Full stop, the rest of our hman life will be to reach the goal of becoming like Him, not lookin at others and judging. We can only become like him once we surrender all and read and pray the scriptures.

This boy also deserves GRACE a second shot at life, we all do - just that our deeds don get discovered and shock a nation. Its not about white, black, colored, green and blue pple - we all fall short. He needs someone to<

Jael i agree the kid needs jesus but as much as that does not absolve adam and eve of what they did.so the same with the kid.we all have sinned and come short of Gods glory and we need grace.therefore we shouldnt condemn anyone but we should also own up to our mistakes.yes the devil influences but i pull the trigger.the temptatiöns we face,we can overcome cos Jesus gives us an opening to do that.i feel for the kid and hope he gets some peace but part of being converted is accepting and confessing our sins and not just blaming lucifer.nice reply though

Ms. Jay
04 Sep 2008 05:45

thank tha, I agree part of conversion is confession (I didn highlight that) kana the bible tells us that we ought to confess with our mouths - I am not giving the kid a scape goat by blamin lucifer - we need to be weary that he is out there and that he will do anything and use us to do his "soul winning".

Your blogg is great! Wel done
