Conclusions

The obvious question at the end of any season of TAR is, "Did the best team win?".  Tyler & James were the best team when it came to finishing each leg well.  They won three legs, which is more than anyone else, and on average finished better than any other team with the exception of Peter & Sarah, who at one stage had a better track record than the models.

When it came to their performance throughout the episode, Tyler & James weren't always the best-performing team as they had a tendency to fall behind early on and then catch up, rather than have a consistent performance throughout the episode.  However, by the end of the race they were overall the best-performing team.

So it's probably a fair assessment that the "best" team did win this season of the Amazing Race.

Interesting, so it was a pretty fair outcome in the end then. How is it that Lyn and Karlyn ended up one more roadblock than the other teams? Don't remember them pulling a switch of blocker or anything.

sorry maan Citanul for the blank...

For me Tyler and James were the beter team in the last 3 and I was voting for them. Lyn and Karyln were not always in good form. The bickering of Rob and Kim was so irritating. Tyler and James deserved to win!!!

>>How is it that Lyn and Karlyn ended up one more roadblock than the other teams?<<

There was the episode with the intersection where Tyler & James and Rob & Kimberly had to work together and did the fast forward, meaning that both teams missed out on that episode's roadblock.

I liked the models, I'm happy they have won. Winning TAR was good for their drug recovery.
