Rescue Me returns for a second to continue following Tommy Gavin (Denis Leary) - a recently divorced fireman with New York City's Truck Company 62 – struggling to handle the fact that his wife Janet (Andrea Roth) is moving on with her life without him and with the ongoing effects of 9/11.
The season begins with Tommy having nightmares about Franco’s injury while Janet is in the midst of selling the house and preparing to leave with their kids. Experiencing ongoing premonitions of his own death, Tommy now lives alone in an illegal sublet in the East Village after being transferred to Staten Island.
Tommy realizes that he is going to have to get his life back in order so he can find a way to get back to Truck Company 62.

The Shield follows the tough, morally ambiguous world of an inner-city Los Angeles police precinct, where the line between good and evil is crossed daily.
Season Two premieres with Vic desperately searching for his family while a Mexican drug dealer brutally murders a pair of rival gang members in an effort to gain control of Farmington's cocaine market.
A drug shipment arrives spiked with poison and Vic worries that the Quintero brothers are out to unite two of the neighborhood's most violent gangs into one - a move that would adversely effect his own drug trade profits.
