Isidingo's numbers are dropping. Overall it would seem that SABC3's numbers are lower than usual.

I agree.. I know a couple of people who have actually quit watching Isidingo, including myself.. Its so boring now. There is no interesting storyline. I think ashley's death threw the writers off the course a bit

I think we need more (independent) tv channels...SABC 1 is dominating because people they don't have choices! We need more E-TVs!

Im surprised to see that rhym city is not realy making in roads yet, number wise. Its not even featured in the top 5.but im happy to see the documentary numbers sky rocketing, with local doccies like glow of white women pulling in the numbers.

>>Im surprised to see that rhym city is not realy making in roads yet, number wise<<

Actually it is.  If you look at the figures, more people are watching it than Isidingo, one of the shows in the same timeslot.

On the Top actuality shows, I do not see 3rd degree. Wonder between it and special assignment what the figures are.

Top News Bulletins
Are there more Zulu and Xhosa viewers watching news than N Sotho, S Sotho and Tswana viewers? Is it the time difference or the population difference?
I see asikhulume has over a million viewership. Wonder what the figures were before Mphepheto left.

I see National Geographic on SABC 3 has more than one million viewership. Can somebody explain why? SABC 3 hardly has over million viewership with the exception of the soapies.

@Realist.....maybe people get bored by Madam Debra's way of interviewing people...she might think she's trying to be a hard-nosed journo but i dont like her style.....on National Geo....the show is very interesting...that's if you're inquisitive

@ Realist...who is Mphepheto? etv plays the same movies year after year well same as SABC 1-Yamarepeats.
Where is Top Billing?

@ Bra Bizza: On Debra's interviewing style I second you. I was interested in the figures between 3rd degree and special assignment.

@ zowee: His real name escape me now, but he used to read the SABC 1 news and he was talk show host on SAfm between 09h00 and 12h00.

hi guys

im lovin rythm city, its slowly getting those figures....

im a bit bother by scandal cos i dnt see any action maara hey? i think rhythm city shld be scandal, coz mo scandals r there.

with 3rd degree n special assignment, dont knw if we cn compare the two as they not in the same time slot. 3rd degree is a dead slot becouse of that rubbish soap generations but if  3rd degree wasnot move to the same time slot as Spec assign it would bit it 100%

3rd degree and Debra have no chance in hell of making it viewership wise...they are up against the legendary Generations....

18:30 during weekdays!
7de Laan = 1,826,000
Isidingo = 1,027,000
Rhythm City = 1,571,000

Isidingo better up your game or else you gonna be Backstage!!! I love Isidingo, plz guyz stop watching RC and 7de Laan just for my sake...I'm trying to protect Isidingo from being History! LOL

TVSA Staff thanks for this kinda update! THUMBS UP!

Lowest AR's
SABC 1 = 2,482,000
SABC 2 =1,119,000
SABC 3 =772,000 (Watchout, any advice on how they can up their AR?!)
E-tv = 1,061,000

Seems like SABC 3 is the loser channel
