First i would like to thank Monchooza for bringing this up into my attention so now its time for a debate.

Two weeks ago i was listening to a community radio station name called Radio Helderberg 93.6 the Cape Townian will know about this radio station the topic was that, Seeing that there is a lot of teenage gals that are pregnant in the community sum r btwn the age of 12 & 18 so what do you people as a community do to reduce this amount of teenage Pregnancy. The Dj also said that sum of these kids say it was a mistake they didnt plan to fall pregnant.


So according to my knowledge i think there is nothing called a mistake when conceiving a child and why is that is bcoz by the time u have sex and u dnt use a condom & u dnt use any other protections like pills & injections that u knew u'll fall pregnant if ur boyfriend spam on you. So that is clearly not a mistake. Maybe i dnt understand the meaning of the word mistake is but i know my fellow bloggers will tell me the meaning of the word mistake then i'll know i'm wrong but for now i think i'm right.

Now all of u guyz and gals, man & women, mothers & fathers, husbands and wives,grandma's and granddad's tell me according to ur knowledge what is a mistake and plz explain thoroughly how can someone make a mistake when making a child.

Maziye ke yizani nazo zonke prove me  wrong  7 then if i'm right enjoy the ride with me.

@Bulie, trust me there is something called a mistake when having sex and the babies are a result of them. My son is a product of that sorry mabloggers truth be told! See the condom does bust, the morning after pills do not always work and as for contraceptives you think about using them when you realise that you are ready to have sex (well that was my case) and by then the option was the condom and yandiphoxa shame.

What I believe is people do fall pregnant without planning for it....that may be called a mistake cause you did not mean for it to happen but it happened....But as the saying goes_Every child is a blessing from God (You might have wanted the blessing or not) and no single child is a mistake.

See the condom does bust, the morning after pills do not always work

Morning-after pills do work when you take them properly and you don't abuse them, like using them as a form of contraceptive regularly. And you must make sure you don't vomit within atleast an hour of taking them. The ones that come in two's (and not in four) don't make you sick anyway.
My friend also thought they didn't work on her but she was actually already pregnant when she took them and could have led herself to a miscarriage but luckily they both fine. She didn't notice that the condom broke previously and he kept his mouth shut.

heheheh bullie, i think it doesn't sound right when you say a child is a mistake, but kwangempela maningi kabi amamistakes ngaphandle lana, in Sana Lwam's sense of course,  and kudala when we were born there were no condoms or abadala didn't wear those things, so they just depended on "im not ovulating" and then boom there is Belz, not expected, so that's a mistake, hayi ukuthi you dont love the child, but yes there are mistakes.

I meant according okay guyz ndiyaniva so far but no one forced himself on u so u might atleast knew the outcome of that will be, coz u said condoms do bust then why dont u protect urselves otherwise why everyone make the same mistake u call it a mistake. I knew condoms bust and i protect myself frm that and i always dont trust condoms anyway so i always protected myself. Why

Bulie wethu a mistake is a mistake and ANYONE has made a mistake once in their lives no matter what it was. The important thing from making a mistake is the lesson we take from that. For me falling pregnatn at the age  of 18 was a mistake but my son is NOT a mistake. yes, i had concentual sex knowing the results and enjoying my man's piss in me but the last thing on my mind then was getting pregnant - i had done it so many times, why would i get pregnant then.

And wena uthi you dont trust condoms, so you have a Plan B which i assume is some form of contraceptive protecting you from getting pregnant. But hwat's protecting you from contracting the HI Virus. Wont it be a mistake if the condom bursts and there's nothing else protecting you from your man's juices mixing with yours (not saying he's HIV positive) ..just curious.

@Bulie, my love, no child is a mistake but the actions that led to the poor thing to exist may be contributed to being a mistake. All Monchooza wanted to say was that his parents did not randomly pick him at a supermarket where all the babies are bought but they googled him and bought him via the internet….honeymoon.

Since we started dating we never used a condom, not even once for the whole 3 years and I never once gotten pregnant. Than one day when we only did a small quickly than BOOM, i found out i was pregnant (my baby didnt make it to 7 months). My point ke sana is, mistakes do happen keeping in mind that when you are having sex or planning to sleep with someone you love and trust indaba zama-contraceptives are far from your mind. Mabloggers, when is the best time to plan a baby shower?? @RENE- I wasnt on contraceptive at all, i think my fear was those myths zaselokishihi zikuthi uyakhuluphala ubuye uvuze ngaphansi if u-preventa. I was a model than and couldnt afford to be PHAT.... Also my falling preggies was not a mistake, it happened and we were both excited about it but our joy was short lived and the miscarriage eventually made us brake up. So that was that.

There is this friend of mine, a guy, he had 3 sons in 2002 each son starting from the second child was a month apart from the one before. He told me he didn't want the last two kids he did not plan to have them & the mothers didn't want to get rid of the growing tummy. I asked him one question that when he chamad knowing he didn't use i-rubber did he expect it to turn into caramel & that the tadpoles would magically disappear? He was busy putting the blame on the two ladies instead of him. So in my opinion unless the rubber bust without noticing, or the pills failed to perform then Hell!!!!!!!!!!! no!!!!!!!!!!, getting pregnant is never a mistake ppl, with so may prevention choices!!!!!!!!
