Hey y'all...I know I haven’t been blogging much due to work reasons. I have a dilemma today and I need to vent out a little. Please bear with me lovely people.

here it goes....

Went out Saturday night with boyfie and friends. After the hectic week that I have had I needed a night out to distress. Everything was going well...I had one glass of wine...we were having fun talking about things and stuff like that...i had a second glass...the conversation was flowing smoothly...the waiter came and offered more drinks...I asked for a third glass...boyfie gave me a look and I ignored him…we chatted along…my third came…I drowned it and asked for number four…boyfie said “lovey don’t you think you’ve had enough?”…I gave him my sweetest smile and said “don’t worry love, this is the last one”…the chats continued…it was about 10h00 then…I finished number four and got thirsty again…I ordered number five…the boyfie told the waiter not to give me number five!...

WTF?...I smiled sweetly at the waiter and told him to “f*&#$n bring the f@#$%n glass of wine”…the poor waiter nodded and left…boyfie went like…”what is wrong with you? We should go you’ve had enough…”…I could see that our friends we a little bit concerned, but I was pissed. “How the hell do you know if I had enough or not?”…before he answered my number five came…I drowned it like water…boyfie stood up from his chair came to mine and grabbed my hand…”come lets go, you’ve had enough.”…I yanked my hand away from him and told him I was not going anywhere…It was after 1 in the morning then…the waiter came to tell us to place our last orders as the bar was closing…I immediately asked for number six and boyfie couldn’t have any of it. 

We had a brawl there and I ended up agreeing to leave (only because I was feeling tired..*wink*). When we got to my place, I passed out. When I woke up this morning (Sunday), I realized he didn’t sleep in the bed with me, instead he had slept on the couch. He was already gone by the time I woke up…he left a note saying I should call him when I am sober. 

I also got a call from my best friend, whose in another part of the country…she told me she got a call from my soon to be ex-boyfie telling her that she must talk to me…that I drink too much and he’s worried about me. Really! They haven’t even met yet and he went through my phone to get her numbers and meddled in my business. Obviously my friend was a bit worried and concerned. Who wouldn’t it! Its not everyday you get a call from a stranger telling you your best friend is an alcoholic! I decided not to call him. I am mad at him.

I know I drank too much y’day, and I know I might have misbehaved a little, but that doesn’t give him the right to treat me like I am some sort of an alcoholic or a 16year old! I am an adult for heaven’s sake! He belittled me in front of my friends. I don’t usually drink too much…but I was feeling the pressure of the previous week. It felt good somehow to indulge a little...and is not like I was driving!

My questions to you my lovely bloggers is:-
1. Did he have a right to talk to me like that?
2. What is wrong with indulging once in a while?
3. Do i have right to compain or am i being a brat?
4. Did he have a right to call/worry my best-friend?

I know I said never again but hey the boy does me well and chocolate covered cake worthy of my time..hasnt showed up yet...LOL.

I simply love Didier Drogba....especially when he is sweaty....and shows that six-pack after scoring.....yummy...just bought excitement to my borring Sunday... he is gorgeous isnt he?

I don't think he talked to you in a bad way. He was just asking you to go slow on th the booze...but the call me when you're sober note was just childish...

2. What is wrong with indulging once in a while? 
Nothing...absolutely nothing...but if you need to do that...I would suggest you do so with your galfriends on a gals night out...

3. Do i have right to compain or am i being a brat? 
You only have a right to complain about him calling your gal. But that depends on how often you drink booze..would he be complaining about you having alcohol issues for nothing??

4. Did he have a right to call/worry my best-friend? 
If you reali are an alcoholic...yes...

5. Has any of you ever been in the situation?
No my love...but during my Castle Lite days, I made sure that when I got drunk, boyfie did too...

i think the behaviour is wt made him to sleep in the couch and the smell ,
and u know the mlungus doesn't believe in drinking and get drunk

pity i cant actually put the tone of his voice in words...but it was bloody demeaning!

If you reali are an alcoholic...yes... sweetie I barely drink that much...the most is one/two glasses and my gal-friend knows that. that's why she was suprised.

Then you too should  "talk"......before he drags you to rehab..... or his therapist to talk about that thing that happened in your childhood/past that is making you drink "so much" alcohol......

V,you had yourself a situation there hey!There nothing wrong with over indulging once in a while,i also get annoyed when somebody  tries to count my drinks espcially when that somebody is my bfriend.But i guess he meant well,maybe you were starting to embarass him.He hadno right though to talk down to you,and he had no right  to also call your friend.Its not like you are an alcholic mos.Maybe he's not used to you drinking.

I agree Tshd21,i prefer to go jolling with my girls cause with the bfriend,we are bound to end up fighting..Just give the brfother a call,i am sure he really meant well.But i  also feel the two of you need to lay some ground rules when it comes to friends.When you feel like getting wasted,give your girls a call.

Tough one... there.  I indulge when I am with my friends...  don't do it when I am on a date.  My ex does not drink...come think it, none of my previous BFs drink...  Hmm,.. I think I might have just discover my why I have relationship problems..  BECAUSE THEY ARE SOBER THEY SEE ALL MY FLAWS CLEARLY..

Ke eng Vutmi....don't you have a security code or something?? ...No i never saw a reason to have one...i dont go through other peep's phones and i expect people to respect mine too. Its such a drag when you have to make a call and you have to first puch in the security code. dang!!!!
nway i've learnt my lesson..I am enabling it right now.

There was nothing wrong with the way he spoke to u. All he had to do was to be a bit more understanding,coz as u said u don't normally drink and u weren't driving so he was suppose to chill and let u indulge.

Nothing is wrong with indulging once in a while. And if someone says u have a problem, tell them u don't they just have a problem with ur drinking.

Yes u have the right to complain coz at the end of day, u are an adult and therefore have the right to life ur life in a way that pleases u. U are certainly not being a brat all u need to do is explain to ur boyfriend..*obviously when u are sober.......LOL* U need to tell him that he must allow u to enjoy ur drinks in peace since it is not something u do all the time.

He didn't have the right to call ur best friend especially since he took her no. through ur phone. Personally I think that it is very wrong to scroll through another person's cellphone becoz it is private and u never know what u may find and how u will interpret it. So that was really uncalled for and u must bring ur boo in2 line by telling him to never go through ur forn again, if he has a problem ith u he msut attend to the problem directly and if that challenges him, u will simply have code to unlock ur phone and he will never knwo whta the code is!!!!
