Government troubles

I am not very big on writing and I am not very good either but this really bothers me.
I work for a young, well known and dynamic IT company. There are lots of growth prospects here. Employees stay for up to 10 years with this company.
The company is losing people to Australia and other countries. This is because of the crime rate in our country. I spoke to the guy that we said farewell to yesterday and he told me how he can’t take the fact that he can never know whether his wife and kids are ok or not. He also said that there is crime in Australia but you wouldn’t get shot for a cell phone, unlike here.
If you ask me about ‘uDaddy uachievile’, I wouldn’t know a thing about it. I am not into that. I listen to talk radio all day and don’t listen to Retro or the Youth Station.
This morning, one of the stations interviewed Matthews Phosa, the arrogance of that guy! He went as far as saying ‘Arggh, that one’; this was in response to a question that they asked about Yengeni.
In the early hours of this morning I heard sounds, I looked around with a torch, but I couldn’t see anything but I could feel that there definitely was somebody in our yard. Every day when I get home and open the gate I fear for my life. We live in a very dangerous country.
The Scorpions Boss Gerrie Nel, was arrested at the beginning of the week. Jackie Selebi is in court TODAY waiting for a judgement against the NPA. These to me are both the highest bodies in South Africa when it comes to our protection. Yet they are the one with the biggest problems.
If there are so many problems at the top, what is the hope for us down there? Every time you require assistance from the police they can take up to 6 hours to respond. I have an alarm system, but even with them, when they arrive at your property they don’t immediately enter because of a fear of being shot. They scan the area for a while, then go inside the car and then only go in, in the hope that by the time they go inside your property, the robbers would be gone.
This morning they were talking about passing some sort of a law that requests all security controlled areas to screen all buyers. The reason for this is that criminals are now buying these properties just so they can see what is going on and plan for their next victim.
This topic is huge, and it is dear to me, this article does not do any justice to this topic. I can go on and on about the problems that we have in this country, I haven’t even begun to mention the President on the ANC; that on its own is a very thick book.

Babyface kanti yintoni ngawe man??? Clearly this is a real concern to the person who wrote this & this is not a senseless article @ all! If you dont appreciate his/her real fear bout South Africa's reality at this hour, then YOU go play elsewhere & let those who want to hear him/her do so!

I'm sure he/she wanted to use that question situated in the place of his/her name as an opening line to his/her article.

Nawe muntu khawuziveze...dude or dudette? It's kinda tiring to constantly be writing the he- slash- she thingy...

WSCT- What South Africa is Coming To good to see that you are concerned as all all of us are. Especially with the games the so called head of Securities in this country are playing...I mean just because NPA wanted to arrest him Selebi now he went and arrested the NPA boss....its all sick. Glad charges against him were dropped and now we will see what happens to Selebi and le ena Jacob Zuma.

But it aint bad after all for the townships  if Zuma becomes president neh..? Guess wha..??
...... Instead of community centres...maybe there will be Shower Centres now abantu base kasie can have a shower. Nabo tsotsi after doing the deadly deads cause the girl was wearing a short skirt or her drooling breast was a license for her to get knocked up.
this crime thing especially with high profile people makes me SICK.

Jackie is on extended/indefinite leave until the outcome of his case.
Andie: Jackie told Agliotti to buy Mbeki a pair of expensive shoes. He told him he Mbeki had small but wide feet.
Spice, I didn’t even know you could delete replies on this blog. If anyone deleted it, it wasn’t me. Maybe Toodecent, being the moderator on here can tell us who did it. Toodecent please let us know who deleted Spice’s response I am very interested in knowing who is sabotaging this blog.

I am sure the shower guy was so delighted at the news that Mr Lekota was arrested for speeding, we know they dont like each other and guess what they all have offenses now. What's up with our politicians? all shady & scandalous.

Eish ndimthanda kanjani lo tata (Lekota), wenzani ngoku.

My gripe with such articles is that all we are able to do is to point out the obvious,ANC failing us and crime.

Im not seeing us asking whats to be done??How about joining neighborhood watches and Public Safety Associations where we live?I love this country too much to moan and groan doing nothing.

After all, crime IS NOT a new phenomenon, just that whites are experiencing it the same way we have been exposed to for far too long.

And that is the joy of democracy;equal sharing of misery and sadness.
