Once Upon a Time in Mexico
On: December 20, 2007
Time: 20h00

The saga of the mythic guitar-slinging hero, El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas), continues in Robert Rodriguez’s bravura action epic. This adventure is set against a backdrop of revolution, greed and revenge. Haunted and scarred by tragedy, El Mariachi has retreated into a life of isolation.

He is forced out of hiding when Sands (Johnny Depp), a corrupt CIA agent, recruits the reclusive hero to sabotage an assassination plot against the president of Mexico conceived by the evil cartel kingpin Barrillo (Willem Dafoe).

Returning with his two trusted sidekicks, Lorenzo (Enrique Iglesias) and Fideo (Marco Leonardi), the desperado stokes the legend of El Mariachi to new heights of excitement and adventure. Directed by Robert Rodriguez (2003).

Christmas Day movies:

Stuart Little
Date: December 25, 2007
On: 14h15

Co-director of The Lion King (Rob Minkoff) brings the book by author E.B White to life in this hilarious adventure film in which Stuart (voice of Michael J. Fox) - a little guy with a big heart, whiskers and a really dapper wardrobe - is in search of a place to call home in a decidedly supersized world.

When he’s adopted by the Littles, a human family played by Oscar® winner Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie and Jonathan Lipnicki, he embarks on adventures with a variety of characters, including his nemesis, family cat Snowbell, and learns the true meaning of family, loyalty and friendship.

Stuart Little 2
Date: December 25, 2007
On: 15h50
Two years have passed since we last visited the Little family and the plucky, pint-sized hero Stuart Little (voice of Michael J. Fox). Stuart has settled nicely into his new peaceful life. When a mysterious bird literally drops out of the sky, and introduces herself as Margalo (voice of Oscar® nominee Melanie Griffith) everything changes. She reveals that she is being terrorized by Falcon (voice of Oscar® nominee James Woods).

Margalo moves in with the Littles, much to the annoyance of Snowbell, the family’s bad-tempered cat. But Margalo is hiding a dark secret, and when she mysteriously vanishes, the unlikely duo of Stuart and Snowbell set out on a heart-pounding, hair-raising journey to find her and unlock the mystery. They have no idea where they’re headed, all Stuart knows is he has to find Falcon’s lair and get Margalo back.

Jerry Maguire
Date: December 25, 2007
On: 20h00

Tom Cruise was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of a successful sports agent who is fired from a high-powered agency when he develops an honourable streak.

To his dismay, he finds he has also lost most of his clients and his fiancée, publicist Avery Bishop (Kelly Preston). With only the least-important client on his once-full roster, undersized wide receiver Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr. in an Oscar®-winning performance), and the one person from his ex-firm who believes in him, wistful single mother Dorothy Boyd (Renée Zellweger), Jerry must start over and rebuild his life from the ground up.
