i didn't want to say anything about this image i wanted people to make up their own conclusion hence the title anyway what this image is saying is these dumb psychologist have been telling us guys to be in touch with our emotions, that real men don't cry etc so what i'm telling you is stop it, it doesn't look good at all. dont get me wrong i'm not saying men shouldn't cry (crying for a dead loved one is an exception) im just saying if you wanna cry do it behind closed doors nobody really wants to see men cry i mean it's pathetic. maybe i'm too young to get it (i'm 19) but men who cry look stupid

The term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts which often bear the names of rock bands (or other designed shirts), studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoes or other black shoes (often old and beaten up) and thick, black horn-rimmed glasses.Emo fashion has changed with time. Early trends included straight, unparted hair (similar to that of Romulans and Vulcans in Star Trek), tightly fitting sweaters, button-down shirts, and work jackets.[citation needed] This fashion has at times been characterized as a fad.

In recent years, emo, in the popular media, has been associated with a stereotype that includes being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angsty. It is also associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide.

This site is intended to be a basic FAQ and primer on emo - short for "emotional." Emo is a broad title that covers a lot of different styles of emotionally-charged punk rock. This site is intended to introduce the reader to all the common styles, describe them musically, and give ideas about the essential records of all those styles. You will be an expert in emo, in the broad sense, after reading this website.

Mina Aqui, i like emotional brothers. I am big crier myself, i cry when i watch sad/romantic movies, when i get bad service at a shop, Laurryn Hill's unplugged dvd had me swimming in a pool of my own tears...LOL  @ big baby.

My ex cried when we broke and I ofcourse helped him....LOL ....we cried together how sweet is that??? I cud have taken him back for that, if i thought our situation was gonna change!

So..................Acqui u r 19 so youre a little older that what  I asumed (13) dont worry my luv we still luv ya

sponono
06 Dec 2007 01:52

hi hi hi @Spice LOL.......Acqui is nine-teen....is that a nine-year old teenager.....

seriously acqui at least you admit that because you still young you dont get it...i respect that..however when somebody cries there are different resons and crying for a dead loved one is not THE main reason..in fact some people (including women) dont cry when they loose their loved ones  but in other situations they do...the same can be said for men....its an emotion that displays itself through unexpcexted situations, e.g a guy can cry because of extreme anger and frustration..e.g when they want to fight or after a fight (which they didnt loose...but just the sheer frustration and anger  maybe becasue they didnt want it to happen or they wanted to keep on fighting...eish its just confusing but it is what it is.....(i know sounds silly...but it happneds and you can understand if you've felt that emotion....)
