TINO AND ABIGAIL
Tino, after Alex's talk with him, realised how much his mom means to him and how much she sacrificed for him and finally apologised to his mom for being such a brat! Abigail, naturally and as expected embraced her son in a big bear hug and these two will now go back to their nauseating mom-son acting and Tino will go back to being a mommy's boy and Abigail will continue to show us her sharp teeth each time she smiles!!!
THE WICKED THREESOME
Morongwe tried to warn Shakira that it's not always fun being on the wrong side of the law and that she shouldn't do it if her reasons are purely wanting to be accepted by Abigail. Of course, Shakira thinks Mo is threatened by her and paid her no attention. Mo must have spoken sense to her though cause Sharika then went to see Abigail about the exact nature of Laqasha's business. Abigail went into a long explanation about how the hype around the Laqasha name was actually much bigger than the criminal activities they conduct in breaking the law. In fact she said it was more about bending the law than about breaking it.....if someone said this to me, I'd be as confused as anything!
THATO, MALETSATSI, THOKO
With Thoko believing Thato's claims that Maletsatsi is her husband- Jomo's- concubine, Thoko invited Maletsatsi over for tea. Remember that Thato had forbidden Maletsatsi from honouring the invitation but the good in Maletsatsi just couldn't do that. When she arrived at Thoko's house the first thing she asked Thoko was where her husband is..WTF is that?! Scandal writers must stay away from so obvious ploys to get the story going...this woman is already furious with Maletsatsi....her asking after Jomo's whereabouts or well being was an unnecessary addition to the dialogue!!
I guess this is all the convincing Thoko needed to confirm Thato's story and so she removed the pot of boiling water from the stove, approached Maletsatsi and demanded that she admit to having an affair with her husband! Maletsatsi must have been wondering what madness possessed this woman and eventually was saved from the boiling water by Thoko's son, JJ.
She might be God-fearing but she certainly isn't stupid,this Maletsatsi. She confronted Thato about her lies and couldn't get over how Thato betrayed her just to stop Busi going to KZN. In the end she cut ties with Thato and told her to stay away from her. I don't understand Thato and cannot imagine that there are friends like her out there! She just wouldn't let this friendship end as she kept going over to Maletsatsi so the two of them can settle this "disagreement" and become friends once more. She was finally kicked out of Maletsatsi's flat when she forced her way into her home, right past Lolo who tried to block the entrance.
So, now Thato is friendless.
SAM, ABIGAIL, FREDDIE
Sam demanded that Abigail fire Freddie because she is affected by his presence in the building, whether he admits to the attempted hijacking or not. In the end Abigail called in Freddie to her office and told him he had been transferred with immediate effect. What a change of performance from Freddie! He almost snarled at Abigail showing us his long teeth (i've never seen anyone with teeth this long, i hope it's the last we see of him) and told Abigail to pass on his message to Sam that she had better start looking after herself especially now that she is pregnant!
So, now Sam's got bigger problems ahead of her.
NADIA, DANIE, THATO
It was almost hilarious how Thato was thrown out of Daniel's home. She had prepared breakfast for the ungrateful man and when he didn't so much as say thank you, Thato told him off for it. It was then that Daniel told her to pack her belongings and leave! He had had enough of her plus the news of the trick she played on Maletsatsi had found its way to his ears.
Nadia, in a sympathetic move no one can fathom, offered Thato her place to stay in. As Thato gratefully hugged Nadia, we saw her grinning in a way most bitches are supposed to grin...
So, now Thato has a place to stay but what's she up to?
MMADIKWA, ALEX, MORONGWE
glam and well-coiffed or ghetto fabulousness?Hmmmm.
Morongwe's cousin, Mmadikwe, is back in town and Alex has offered her a room to stay, in his and Mo's home. Mo, who usually projects an image of self control and confidence, suddenly has her feathers ruffled by this arrangement. This Mmadikwe, who has the hots for young Tino, shamelessly walks around in sexy black nightwear right in front of Alex!! Even the most confident woman, would have a problem with this! Nevertheless, I hope Mmadikwe ends up sleeping with Alex-wouldn't that be JUST the right kind of scandal?!!
Mmadikwe has managed to get work at Scandal to assit the under-staffed reporters department that's struggling to meet printing deadlines. Yho, it's gonna be really interesting to see Mo and Mma's home problems brought into the office....pity Alex looks so stiff!
