I Cannot beleive how arrogant and ignorant people can be, I got this E-mail from a friend and was pissed off @ what this woman was saying I still cannot beleive it . The question is
1.where does she get off?
2. Is she for real ?
3.Is what she's saying a fact ?
4. Do you agree or disagree with her
Most importantly have you ever been in relationship with someone outta your own race ?,how was the experience ?,would you advice someone to go that route ?

whatz your take ? the article is below

I'm sorry but I would like to challenge some of your Black male readers.
I am a White female who is engaged to a Black male-good-looking,
educated and loving. I just don't understand a lot of Black female's
attitudes about our relationship. My man decided he wanted me
because the pickings amongst Black women were slim to none. As he said they
were either too fat, too loud, too mean, too argumentative, too needy,
too materialistic or carrying too much excess baggage.

Before I became engaged, whenever I went out I was constantly
Approached by Black men, willing to wine and dine me and give me the world. If
Black women are so up in arms about us being with their men, why
don't they look at themselves and make some changes. I am tired of the
dirty looks I get and snide remarks when we're out in public. I would like
to hear from some Black men about why we are so appealing and coveted
by them.

Bryant Gumbel left his wife of 26 years for one of us. Charles
Barkley, Scottie Pippen, the model Tyson Beckford, Montell Williams, Quincy
Jones, James Earl Jones, Harry Belafonte, Sydney Poitier, Kofi Anan,
Cuba Gooding Jr., Don Cornelius, Berry Gordy, Billy Blanks, Wesley
Snipes...
I could go on and on. But, right now, I'm a little angry and that is
Why I wrote this so hurriedly. Don't be mad with us, White women,
Because so many of your men want us. Get your acts together and learn from us
And we may lead you to treat your men better. If I'm wrong, Black men,
Let me know.

Thanx-Disgusted White Girl, Somewhere in VA!!!!

There's also a very interesting reply to this letter ,but first I need to hear from the bloggers!!

Peace
I'm not a writer ya'll

Spice I am not on your case or whatsoever but thats my thoughts seems like we will never leave the racism.... if people arent critcising others then others bring the criticism to those that didnt get. First it was Xhosa Chick with the Patriotic us article and NOW Spice has written this one.. Well am gonna leave this one for now but SHOULD there be little chaos am disabling it with immediate effect as its a fact that others will take it personally. And then a good community network like TVSA is being used for entertaining all this.Well personally am sick and tired of Africans always entertaining the racism thing...on radio, on news papers..its black people that white people that...young blacks that..! Even on Metro fm almost each day they go about it...I have heard it nuerous times on the breakfast show. Young blacks that....and that.... oly ish...We are more than 10 years in democracy yet people still entertain what was fought about so we be equal. The sittuation is now versa versa...

Oh my Gaad. No offence to the white chicks here, but black men go for white chicks mainly because they are push overs, and tolerate their sh**. Whereas us black chicks give them a tough time, & r not shy to tell them sh**. NO OFFENCE.

"Black men love sex" and you know what they say about "white women wanting to do it all the time" my guess is that he has the equipment to service her whenever she is ready.

On a lighter note, it doesn't matter what colour you are. when people are in love, colour is the last thing on their mind. some of these relationships last and some don't not because of the race issue but because of similar issues people of colour in a relationship experience.

Another thing is that, Rich black men go for very beautiful white women to be thier trophies while Black women go for Ugly white men because they have money. I think its better to have someone to support you financially than to have someone who thinks you are a property.

Are you sure you want to get into this discussion Spice..... I personally think it one those topics that are better left undiscussed cos what this woman is saying I can turn it all around and make it as if White dudes are after Blacks chicks which is very true.

I think it's a great topic, especially since SA has so many diverse cultures, and the truth of the matter is that it's a real everyday issue, so talking about it helps us to educate and understand each other. Ignoring it is dangerous.

The person that wrote the article, is s twisted racist, i think by responding with negative insults to her would mean we are racist and twisted. What I am saying is 2 wrongs dont make a right. if we entertain this she will see her self as a controversial person who can stir up a debate. I agree with TDC that this article should be deleted. We are in the new SA, we dont need a reminder than soem are black or some are white. Still if she still sees her man as "black' man tyhen she has along way to go before their relationship is perfect. I think she needs to look within herself and her man, try to cut out racism and discrimination before criticizing people she dont know, as they say charity begins at home.

My intention is not to step on anyone's toes but bring this issue to your attention I beleive that we will discuss this issue in a civilized manner and others will get educated by it besides racism is  not the issue here if you read carefully you'll understand that it's about dating from  the other races and how this woman feels ,so can we discuss just that pls thanks and regards

I dont understand why people avoid talking about race, I mean talking about such things, is therapeutic. It cures us from our ignorance, and gives us insight of  how SA has developed/regressed in terms of race issues.

So what you telling me is that you'd rather discuss what kind of underwear a celebrity wears that the issues that  are staring you  daily is that what you saying people

andi01

@ Spice the word racism is derived from race.besides racism is not the issue here if you read carefully you'll understand that it's about dating from the other races,  arent u contradicting urself here.

So what you telling me is that you'd rather discuss what kind of underwear a celebrity wears that the issues that are staring you daily is that what you saying people,  quite frankly yes. i would, rather than entertain some ignorant woman who is set to insult the women specie, (i wont say black, coz i am not racist), coz if i respond i would be crashing the whole community of innocent specie who traveled all the way from venus to make earth a better planet, with the help of mars specie of course.

That is so shallow ,disable it if you may 2decent but the fact remains racism is alive  thats why you hear of it every where you go we eat, breath and live it .it's neva going away so it's betta to face it than ignore it as presha said ignorance is dangerous so lets all be in danger
PEACE

Nice one Spice I also have received this mail once..........or twice.  I'm just puzzled that u don't have the continuation which is a black man's response and his reply really does do justice to the comments that the disgusted white girl made so for me it balances the article in a good way. Spice would u kindly allow me to post the reply for the amabloggers, coz nawe uyazi ukuthi it's a killer response????????
